      FAIR taxes would be everyone, rich and poor paying the same rate. The lower the tax, the better off the economy and the less need for lots of government services.
      Instead of jumping through all of these hoops (which I'm glad they're doing) how about a real fair tax, close to zero...thus invigorating the economy and not almost literally being burned by the state (at the stake).

    • @fredkay6743
      @fredkay6743 3 года назад +2

      If the big guys paid the same as the little guys, how would that be fair? If both paid the same 50% for example, to the small businesses that's a huge amount but for the big corporations that rake in, say, 2 billion, 50% of their income is still 1 billion.
      There should be a threshold that determines the amount of tax paid. So if a company earns more than a certain amount, their tax % increases

      @@vickidianacoghlan8946 No, they shouldn't pay the same. They should pay more, which is what I said if you actually read it correctly. If both paid the same amount, the small businesses are going to be worse off because the amount of revenue they produce is lower. Which is why I suggested a threshold, the more you earn the higher taxes you pay. That way, both pay their fair share but are in fact paying different amounts.

And who who owns that company of "beneficial ownership" ?.....You are absolutely right...... This way I pay zero taxes inside EU because my surplus is zero. The surplus is zero inside EU because I pay for the licences fees. That's revenue for the company that owns the "inellectual property". Its so happens that that company is located "offshore" where there a zero taxes. That does not mean it's free. There plenty of fees to keep it going, but no income tax. The reality is that these taxation way is to kill the small business and protect the corporation chains. These guys got it right. What they didn't get right is that they have way more power that they think. Just imagine for a minute : what if EVERYBODY decides to don't pay taxes of any kind. Could you imagine the kind of problem that creates for the government?. Ok,, you can do something like that for a while, let say few months. In the event it doesn't work you do it for a year. Then the authorities will be really worry. Now, bear with me, all services will start to collapse and they have to do something about it. Everybody will be affected by these civil unrest, but in the end you will get their attention. From then on you have to be really serious about "this is not for negotiation". What are they going to do, bring the army back and put EVERYBODY in prison?. That's was is called a revolution and the interesting part is that no one needs guns to run it. The goal should not be to have the multi-nationals pay more tax and send it down the bottomless pit of the state, but rather to follow their lead and find ways to get out from under the onerous tax system themselves.

    Hahaha the roads, local services, churches, police etc etc, are not paid for using normal taxes, they are paid for using your council tax which you will pay anyway, qt least that's what it says on my bill. If every business in your town avoids tax it will make no difference whatsoever to your towns local services as the people who live there pay council tax. Taxes go to the government not your local roadworks etc and what they spend it on is up to them. If your bothered about things like the local NHS, schools etc, which recieve tax from everyone in the UK not just your town so would still be able to manage regardless, make a donation comparable to the tax percentage that you would have paid, that would have been given to them, which i doubt is much at all, you could could prbably give them a lot more than you would have and still save a fortune on tax.

    Every country’s Tax percentage should be changed whether a large or small venture. Companies from other countries find it financially advantageous to venture off shore to gain the deals being made by Governments. These deals to bring foreign interest must stop. It may be the impetus that elevates standards but not being financially disadvantaged by the country they have moved to Taxation percentages must be a constant. That includes the wealthy mans Taxation also.

    I think they should go through with it. It's just a stunt at this point, but why should the town businesses pay taxes to a central 'authority'? Why wouldn't they pool their own resources in order to fund the services that their town needs? That's the whole point of government, and governments around the world these days have completely lost sight of that fact.

    When you get a tax bill, from any government department, you can only discharge it, you can't pay a bill (invoice), with a promissory note.
    They just need your permission to access your "cestui Que vie trust".
    A promissory note is just a promise to pay, they even send you ai giro, and only the ignorant, don't realise it's the means to ay with, just stamp " approved," and sign it.

But I don't know how to make sure security will still be covered. Maybe I'll learn something here. So tired of the crime in my area. And I want taxes to be audited. Where are they going?
