I attempted quite a bit to use some different splits to show the proper stadium and 100 splits, but it would always cause the video to desync (presumably because I dropped some frames around the 11 minute mark). The amount of luck that goes into a run like this is... to say the least astronomical. Compounded by the fact that this run had a pretty terrible start all things considered. Those defense patches in the 3 minute trial were a god send as well. Probably made the difference between this run being sub 50 and a 52. Can't say congrats enough but I'll do it one more time. Congrats!
The description makes it sound like you're going to be done with this category for a while. Will you be doing 120 boxes? I kinda wanted to see if I could make an automatic check box tracker.
120 is decently destroyed atm. Not as much as this run comparatively, but decently so. I think something like that actually exists within the JP community (made by perry), because NTSC-J doesn't have a box counter. But it may be different than what you're thinking of. I would say to go for it still, because I'm trying to organize a 4P group to do multiplayer runs of CT just so I can keep playing the category for the time being until I feel like going for sub 2:45 120 boxes :)
Use one up completely. If you have gotten any HP up, you can get on and off your vehicle repeatedly to reset the vehicle to base HP and heal. Gold spikes are gordos
@@Bluekandy i don’t know what a restoration area is i haven’t seen it in any city trial runs and i have 110 achievements so far less you mean those blue things but i swear i’ve had one hit away from dying and completely healed from those
thx btw also i’ve done 22 stadiums and didn’t get the 20 achievement does the 10 items in 20 sevonds unlock anything i hope not this is annoying does restoration area do anything either
@@themurderersfolley5995 if you can count the number of unique stadium games you have unlocked and it's over 20 (out of 24 total), then play through air glider once and you'll get the checkbox. I believe the 3:28:36 City Trial 100% record needed to do this because the checkbox glitched
@@Bluekandy i have all 24 and every stadium has a little kirby with a time and score next to it is it just a glitch?Now that i notice i did play some with different color kirbys does that effect anything
