I have been on this farm before way back and it's a nice farm, the staff are very kind. Since then I keep visiting the Island. The truth is, its one of the most beautiful places to visit in UK apart from Scottish highlands. It's 1hour flight from Gatwick airport aboard British airway. There are a number of Kenyans and Ugandans living on the island. The Island has it's own money, very rich people with beautiful boats etc. along the farm roads you can find eggs and Irish potatoes for sale but there is no one selling. you just pick what you want and leave the money in a box. That is amazing- no stupid silly thieves. Did you visit the devil's hole? did you visit the light house ? its a long walk from the beach best to take a bicycle up there. It's a nice place to bring up children I highly recommend it.

@@lenniefei6710 Nothing to do with the current government but long term policies. Kenyan policies on agriculture for example has been neglected for many years now.

@Domnic Bii It's been the case since early 90's during Moi's regime but Kenyans have never been honest with the history thanx to the political and ethnic inclinations view of our perspectives of reality!

@Domnic Bii There's always a skewed belief even by the policy makers since 1963 that agricultural success could only be realized in certain regions of the country and discriminate the rest of the country hence tea,coffee,pyrethrum,sugar....even dairy has now failed spectacularly!

@@lenniefei6710 I can say doing things the same way year in year out an expecting different results. The cost of food will not come down until we go back to the farm and grow crops and stop selling arable land in plots.
