  • In this clip from their recent conversation, John and Douglas Wilson consider whether Christians should consider voting for Donald Trump. Douglas weighs Trumps virtues and vices with those of his presidential alternatives and finds that Trump may offer more for Christians than it might appear.
Watch their full itnerview here: • America Divided | Doug...
Doug Wilson is a theologian, minister of Christ Church Moscow (Idaho), ex-Navy, Senior Fellow at New Saint Andrews College, prolific author, and advocate of Christian education.
He has written almost 80 books on a Christian vision for life, plus multiple novels, children's books, and collections of poetry, through the publishing outfit Canon Press. Doug also runs a regular blog and podcast. A firm Presbyterian, Doug uses the catchphrase 'All of Christ, for all of life' to encompass his various projects aimed at renewing a Christian culture.
Previously Doug appeared in the documentary 'Collision', where he debated renowned atheist Christopher Hitchens over the question 'Is Christianity good for the world?' The two went on to write a book under the same title.

Actually, voting GOP is voting for more abortions. Christians have a much higher abortion rate than their secular counterparts. Oh yeah, Christians also have a much higher divorce rate than their secular counterparts. Let's not forget, the states that have the highest populations of conservative Christians (and restrict abortion the most), lead the nation in infant mortality, maternal mortality, violent crime, poverty, teen pregnancy, teen suicide, and have a much lower life expectancy . Want to be "pro-life" (rather than just "pro-birth")? VOTE DEMOCRAT!

Sadly, he doesn't even know what the Gospel is. He doesn't have a favorite passage in the Bible because he hasn't read it. He mocks Christ for loving or praying for our enemies. He feels that he's never had any cause to seek forgiveness from the Lord because he's never done anything wrong. These are all things he's said (on video). I doubt that he is born again.

This cannot be reconciled, regardless of how many conservative justices Trump might appoint. I am a conservative, but I will not vote for Trump. I expect more of the GOP and if Trump is the nominee, then I think a party wake-up call is in order and I'll just hope that a better candidate is put forth in 2028.

I have to admit that I have never liked Donald Trump. Now I say that based upon watching and listening to him on television. That said, having not known the man personally, and not knowing what he is like as a private person. That's a pretty weak way to base an opinion. Now as the years have passed since he was elected President. I have watched and listened to, what is nothing less than an all-out never ending, attempt to totally destroy the man's character, his name, his families name and just about anything and everything about him. I have been around for many years now and I think I have the wisdom to see when something just isn't right. There appears to be something about this man that has a large number of his fellow human beings, gnashing their teeth to destroy him totally and utterly. Many just salivate verbally to see him imprisoned. What is it that drives this apparent fear and loathing. All this said, come what may, if he wins his party's nomination for 2024. I will vote for this man. Not because I love or like him, but because so much hate pointed towards him, leaves me no other choice.

Really? Where are those "beautiful, clean coal jobs"? Where was that "infrastructure week"? Where was his "big beautiful health care plan"? He even blew it on the southern border wall. And pardoned Steve Bannon for stealing over $1 million that was supposed to go for building the wall. T***p is the most criminal, most anti-constitutional, most incompetent president in US history. T***p is also lost the Presidency, the House, and the Senate in 4 years (first time since Hoover), left office with less jobs than when he came in (first time since Hoover), impeached twice, lost the popular vote twice, and increased the national debt by $7.8 trillion (25%) in 4 years. He is the most pathetic, most abysmal excuse of living tissue on planet earth. Bacteria are embarrassed to breathe the same air as T***p. And Christian T***p supporters have made themselves the epitome of Christian hypocrite.
