the product is amazing, it just melts your curls and has your hair do what it suppose to do. leaves hair soft and drying time not that bad either. I've used the co-wash and deep conditioner and almond oil, results are great.
When I did my last wash and go, I used all those products except the hair milk. I dont have that one. turns out i didn't really need it on my fine strands. I used the mint almond oil too. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it so much. You were so right on that gel though. ******
Beautiful wash & go results with these products! My 3c/4a hair loves these Mielle Organics products, but I don’t think Ouidad’s rake & shake method works on my hair very well.

Christina!your hair looks great! i never knew you did rake n shake (or i did and may have forgotten maybe..that happens) i do it do, the same way even down to scrunching at the bottom even though that isn't quite how the original rake n shake is!!! I have to start doing smaller sections like you do. I get lazy and my rake n shake sections are HUGE! LOL..i must try this line
Diane Mary lol yep! I dug up my old blog post from 2014! I love this method - it moves faster than shingling and works no matter what product I use. I can't wait for my color damage to finally be all the way gone so I can stop scrunching lol!
Gisele Asseo thank you! I'll be sharing my updated routine soon. The shine comes from a few different places - deep conditioning regularly, ACV rinses at the end of my wash, and making sure I use moisturizing leave ins under my gels. Sealing with an oil or butter add shine too!
I know some type 4s have used it - but the Pom & Honey Collection is supposed to cater specifically to type 4 naturalistas. Definitely check it out on their IG and in Sally's!

Come through with the rake-n-shake 😁😁. I learned this method from you and still use it every wash day. That gel...I have 6 bottles on deck...LOVE it!
