I found this at a thrift store a while back, I passed on it because they had a price of $90 on it. I went back 2 days later, it was still there, so I asked them if they would take less, and I leave the thrift store with the collection in brand new condition for only $70. This probably beats my conkers bad fur day thrift store find, or is at least very close

That's a ridiculously good bargain, it still goes on ebay right now for upwards of $150
On amazon its about 896$
I would have prefered if this collection came with blu ray and DVD disks instead of Blu Ray 3D and Blu-Ray, oh well, I am still interested in getting this, I really liked a lot of these movies (Iron Man 2 and Thor were kind of whatever to me but they were enjoyable) and I have not seen Captain America but have heard many good things about it, there are some that I can use on DVD, but they aren't technically mine, its the family's, and it would be nice to own them when I move out. I seriously can't wait for phase 2, really good movies came out of that.

Imagine if one day after Inhumans is out and phase 3 is done they do the ultimate massive set. All of phase 1, 2, and 3. As well all the current seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders, Agents of Shield and Agent Carter.
Christopher .Cruse I'd be willing to throw $1000 for all of that, but it would have to be a much higher quality collection. This one that I got has its flaws that could have been easily prevented.

I have this box set and its totally worth it. I got the Sony 3d monitor from GameStop and love watching these movies in 3d. Best value for true fans. Avengers Assemble.

That's the coolest thing I've ever seen.
Keep in mind that if you don't own any of the movies you can think of it as getting them regular price plus 50$ for the extras. Not that much compared to the Bond 50 year collection where your paying about twice as much as the price for every movie in it.

wow people don't know their pricing the disks alone would cost around $100 at least if they were valued at $10 a pop which they aren't it costs more and you're getting a lot of additional content in comparison to other limited editions this is by far one of the best now how you value all the content is up to the person

My only problem on viewing this set, is that it doesn't seem to have the bonus special features discs that some of the films had when they were individually released. I like that it does have new special features, but they should've ported over previous content.

I own all the movies already, and I would get it only if it offers a lot of bonus features that are extra. Because I have both Iron Man movies on blu ray, both come with an extra disk of lots of special features; I see that they don't come with bonus disks here; so doesn't that mean they take away the special features disks, or did they add it all to one disk?

Apparently the extras from the two-disc versions of IM 1&2 have been omitted. What the hell kind of ultimate collection omits extras which had been offered previously? I've all but outgrown the stage where I need all of the ooh-ah memorabilia, it doesn't sounds like the new extras don't justify the ridiculous price. On that subject, are Target exclusive extras on The Avengers worth the extra coin?

He didn't show up until Iron Man 3 (Phase 2). Unless they were trying to simply hint at him.

I own Avengers on blu-ray as well, but the problem I have with it is that there is no great features or making of documentary. So do I get any of that in this set? Because I own all the films already, how much really great extra stuff do I get?

This set was great, but it was so disappointing, the 2nd disc for Iron Man 1 and 2, were left out. The Target Disc for The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers was also left off, none of which were added to the Bonus Disc on here. I'm glad to see they learned from that, this was most likely due to the licensing rights with Paramount and Universal being the ones who commissioned those extras and Disney being too cheap to license them.
What were those Target exclusive discs anyways? Were they any good? Duplicated content or stuff not found on other sets?
