History did not repeat itself in either singles or doubles and I'm happier with Zverev, Mahut and Herbert being the champions of Turin
This nitto cup had one of the best doubles craft at display in long time. Some really amazing deft touch , big moment serve , crisp overhead and group shots. Well deserve title to artistic french pair - displayed by such humble celebration. It showed MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Et nous, en France, quand on a de vrais champions comme ça, on ne passe pas leurs matchs sur les chaînes publiques ! C'est quasi impossible de voir leurs matchs !
Je dois avouer que c'est quand même drôlement triste... je suis Suisse, mais la paire Mahut-Herbert a toujours été ma paire de double préférée. C'est dommage que le double au tennis n'est pas plus médiatisé, c'est pourtant du magnifique tennis avec de belles combinaisons d'équipe, de belles stratégies et surtout des points sensationnels! J'espère que le double sera plus mis en avant dans le futur. En attendant, bravo aux deux Français, qui ont été juste incroyables et qui méritent totalement leur victoire! Beau jeu et bel esprit de leur part! ^^
@@asseln3066 Let's just say that here in France, except for the 2 weeks during Roland Garros, there hasn't been much excitement about Tennis in the past couple of decades. This is mainly due to a lack of performance on the single's side (men and women). We had great talents (Gasquet, Tsonga, Monfils) but all victims of the ultra domination of the big 3/4.
