Lovely and very innovative card Chris. The pearls, sentiment and leaves just brought it all together.. Thank you as always
You are so welcome❤️
Another lovely card. I like the addition of the vellum fleurs and the backdrop for the aperture! Very nice. Cheers from 🇨🇦Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦
Glad you like it!🤍🤍🤍
This card is stunning Christine thank you so much for taking us through your decision process
My pleasure🤍🤍🤍
You made excellent choices for each component, and it is a VERY lovely card indeed! 🩷
Thanks so much! 😊
After watching you use microdots on another occasion, I ordered some. They have been so useful, especially for very fine surfaces. Elegant card and the die you’ve chosen gives a lovely texture to the composition. Thank you for sharing Christine. 🦋xxx
That’s brilliant 🤍🤍🤍
Very beautiful! Really love clean and simple cards. You are very talented!
Thank you so much!
Another Gorgeous card. Thank you. ❤X
Thanks so much!😊😊😊
I don't think i have ever put the twinkle onto velum, it's gorgeous. Another amazing card!!! ❤
Thanks so much😊😊😊
Thats a very clean and simple card to look at but, not a particularly quick one to achieve. Well done Christine
Clean and simple isn't necessarily easy or quick, but I love making cards in this genre😊
This is so elegant and beautiful white on white and the added vellum layer for the flowers and leaves and behind the aperture to float the pretty sphere on looks fabulous Chrissie. The sparkle on the vellum flowers and the added sweet little pearls in the centres make great finishing touches, and also the 'Love You', giving it a romantic touch...perfect. x
Thanks so much 😊 as ever Pat❤️
Bingo, the leaves made a difference ❤
Yes they do
Another stunning card.
Thanks so much!
Just a gorgeous card! Love it.
Thanks so much!😊😊😊
Beautiful, delicate card. 👏🙂💕
Thank you so much 😊
Hi Chris, I love this floating technique, the card is very pretty, thanks for the lovely demo 😁

Such a beautiful card. You are a great inspiration!

Love going through all the options with you.

That is fabulous! Love the sphere die.
Thanks so much 🤍🤍🤍
Beautiful card, Christine 🤗
Thanks for watching😊😊😊
So beautifully simple and elegant
Thank you! 😊
What a beautiful card, love it !
Thanks so much!🤍🤍🤍
Another beautiful card. Glitter gloss is one of my favorite products, too. Just a tiny bit of sparkle does the trick. I recently used it to tie in some plain cardstock on a card that I made that had alcohol ink on silver sparkle Yupo along with Staz-on on silver vellum. The plain cardstock wasn't cutting it at all but, viola, a little glitter gloss and all of it fit together perfectly. Card hasn't be posted yet as it's for a future event and I don't want to spoil the surprise.
Sounds awesome!😊😊😊
Stunning card. Love it
Thanks so much!
Very delicate! I have the same "pokey tool" you have, and to stop it from rolling around, I put a washi tape "handle" around it. No more rolling about!
I have a sloping desk, lots of things roll around! I have a gizmo to store tools whilst in use, I guess I should use it more! 😊
It's lunch time down under and I'm tucked up away from the rain with a cup of English Breakfast and your dulcet tones. As usual, your creating is so enjoyable to watch and the finished result is beyond compare. I sometime think it would be fun if you could hear us all responding to your questions; mostly in agreement, but not universally! TFS
Enjoy your cuppa Helen, I haven't had my first coffee of the day, but I'll join you in just one moment. Not everyone enjoys 'my dulcet tones' ... Just had a comment that there is too much chatter and that I should "get in with it" you can't win them all I guess! Still, there's no obligation to either watch or listen🤣 it would be lovely to hear responses to my questions... I think lots of us often think alike... not all obviously🤣
@@Chrissieannie I'm surprised that a person would be so mean spirited as to leave such a comment! As you know, I've been crafting for eons and I still learn something new most times I watch. For those viewers new to craft, your specific instructions for each step, must be invaluable. You are a skilled teacher, not just a demonstrator and that's why your thousands of devotees appreciate your expertise and your friendship. 💙❤💚
@@helenwallace4870 I think the person hadn't been around long enough to know that we're all friends and I enjoy reading comments in response to what is said in the videos... It's a 2 way street!
@@Chrissieannie That's a gracious way of viewing it. Go well my friend. heart❣
Oh I’m so sorry you got a crabby comment! You’re just the perfect amount of chatter, please don’t stop, I love the sound & accent of your voice!! Have a great day! Erica❤
Stunning card, well done.
Thanks so much 😊
Beautiful as usual. Thankyou. ❤
Thank you! 😊
Love it! Gorgeous card.
Thanks so much!
Lovely is definitely the perfect description for this card. I love the addition of the vellum, it makes it look so delicate, especially with the twinkle 💕
Thank you so much!😊😊😊
Thanks yet again dear Christine. It's really lovely. ❤️
I'm glad you like it🤍🤍🤍
So very pretty! I love the white and vellum together. Elegant and soft.❤
Thank you so much!🤍🤍🤍
Lovely card Christian
Thanks😊
Beautiful card!
Thanks so much!🤍🤍🤍
I just adore watching you create. My favorite phrase is when after you present your idea, you say, “ We'll just see how we get on.” There are not loads of joys that compare to creating something, right out of your head, just as you go along. I think it’s because we are made in God's image and He is the Master Creator. I was watching a video of a man who takes a seed out of a fruit or vegetable or tree, lots of different plants, and plants the seeds and does time lapse photography so you can watch it grow up. It so makes you appreciate and acknowledge what an awesome and amazing God we have. So keep creating! You were born for it and it gives joy and inspires so many people!
I have a suggestion. Your metal pokey tool is like a cat. It always tries to get in the middle of what you're doing. You could wrap the end with a small rubber band or put hot glue on it to keep it from rolling. I see it roll into your way on almost every video.🤭🥰
Thanks for this lovely comment, btw my ‘desk’ is my daughter’s old dressing table and isn’t exactly level, practically every round object rolls towards me on it. .. pokey tools, markers etc, I’ve actually got a holder for them but usually forget to use it!🤣🤣🤣

I love this!! ❤❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is such a beautiful card. I love that die you used, and the vellum on top of the flowers is so pretty. I use a piece of washi tape folded over the top plastic sheet of the sticky dots and use that to separate them easier. Thanks Chrissie
I have tried all sorts but usually my pokey tool does the business!🤣🤣🤣
The sentiment suits the card and has me thinking of buying that circle, it looks like a very useful die. Love the card.
I love it!🤍🤍🤍
Such a beautiful and delicate card! I love the effects that you used. The sphere die would make an interesting shaker card as a floating sphere with silver or holographic glitter beind it. Easy enough to build up using several circle layers of heavier card stock cut with a circle die the same circumference as the sphere. You could also use acetate to float the sphere. I'm looking forward to using your techniques!
Looks like you have heaps of ideas to experiment with. Have fun!
So beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Christine, I don’t post very often but I do watch all of your videos. I love the elegance of your white cards. Clean, simple and beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I just love your cards thanks so much for sharing.
Glad you like them!
Very pretty. I love how you make white cards ❤
Thank you so much!🤍🤍🤍
Just lovely! TFS🌸😎🙏
Thank you! 😊
Thanks Christine. I've had that die for years and had trouble with it being flimsy when cutting it as an aperture. This is a great idea to get more out of that die. I think I'll try it using some acetate to float it.
Great notion!
Beautiful ♥
Thank you!🤍🤍🤍
Love it 😍
Thank you! 😊
Hello christine . This card is not pretty ...it is sublime i love it 🤩🤩🤩 thank and good sunday . 👏👏👏👋👋👋👋
Thanks so much 😊
Gorgeous card❤️what a wonderful selection of dies you have. Beautiful
I do have a bit of an obsession with dies!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful card - The all white are so very elegant.
I think so too!😊😊😊
Such another pretty card. I have put a piece of tape, folded it double, and it is Easyjet to separate the microdots film.
I've tried that too🤣🤣🤣
Suggestion to put a washi tape tag on the pullable layer on the micro dots package to pull on when you want. 😊
I have done that, but opening a new piece is still a bit of a problem!🤣🤣🤣
The way you floated the panel is so pretty. I would love to see it with some colored tiny flowers with stems and leaves behind it with the butterfly on top of the panel. The vellum would mute the flowers, and it would look soft, delicate, and elegant.
Maybe you should try out your ideas!❤️❤️❤️
@Chrissieannie I will. Your card was so pretty, and I loved the sentiment.
@@juliecurtis9517 👍👍👍
Clean and simple is beautiful. My husband is enamoured by the recent clean and simple mainly white cards I’ve been doing recently. He asked where I got the idea, I said guess who from!
Hee hee hee!🤣
Simply beautiful ❤ xx

Simply stunning
Many thanks!🤍🤍🤍
Very pretty Christine👌TFS
You are so welcome🤍
Try a small piece of scotch tape on both sides of the paper that holds the sticky dots and gently pull it apart with the tape.
I have used this method but still manage to get in a pickle. Opening the layers for the first time is always the trickiest!🙄
Beautiful card, It always makes me smile when you add pearls and glitter gloss because they have become a staple in my craft room too! Thank you again for all your wonderful inspiration!!
Kindred spirits!🤍🤍🤍
I love how you try different embellishments to achieve the look you're after. Sometimes I have a feeling of what I want but need to play around to get there. Watching you, the master of CAS, do it makes me feel better about not having a definite plan.
As long as the end result pleases you, that’s all that matters!😊😊😊
Love your use of vellum. I struggle to make cards for men and wonder if you would consider sharing your best techniques or tricks for that? If you have in the past I apologize that I missed them. Thanks, another great card.
I’ll see what I can do!
I found something that I hope is as interesting as it looks on the site Chris, it's variegated foil flakes, but the colours look really bright, a bit like peacock feathers, if they look good I'll post you a pic,and send you the buying details, another beautiful card Chris, I should have lead with that really 😂😂😂
Just keep having fun 🤍
@@Chrissieannie let me tell you something Chris, if it hadn't been for being able to make wee craft projects cards and mixed media projects, I would probably have gone off my head, I won't share, no need, so it's kinda my escape, to my room where nothing else really matters except a constant supply of coffee and biccies I'm sorted, it's just escape, put it that way and it is the best fun. Isn't it?
@@paulwilliamford6789 have fun in your happy place!

I've done something similar with a piece of acetate. I added double sided adhesive to the card before diecutting it.
Me too, but I didn’t fancy the shine of acetate this time. I mentioned the use of double sided adhesive sheet for the back of the die cut too, but I think some of my viewers may not have known about Micro Dots which is why I decided to use them this time.
Thanks For making the suggestion, I’m sure some people will be glad to know about it!😊
Fab card so elegant, thank you. I have some similar dies for flowers but not the striped circle, I'll have to have a think on that one. I don't think l can add pics, I struggle with emoji's 😂
Thanks so much 🤍🤍🤍 The pics are added on Facebook not here!
That's me out then,, l don't do face book. 😢
@@lindabarrett7543 ok🤔
I thought at first that you were going to use the flowers or butterflies attached to the circle cut out and the card bridging it so no velum behind then foam tape to lift it and give floating effect .
Great idea. You could do that easily but would have to have some elements all around the circle at various intervals in order to keep the whole thing elevated.
So very lovely and elegant!! You are so creative!! I am always amazed how you think of your ideas!! Do you know where on amazon you got your pearls?
The sellers seem to come and go, I don't really recall, I just search for the sizes I want.
This card is absolutely perfect & so lovely! I just found you yesterday & have subscribed, your work is very unique! I found the sticky pearls & hopefully a similar sticky paper on Amazon, they’re arriving Sunday! Could you please tell me more about the glossy pen you used? Have vellum & lots of dies, so I’ll be trying out my attempt at a version next week! WOOHOO! Thank you, Christine! I’m from Kansas, USA! Erica❤
The glossy pen is by Nuvo called Glitter Gloss. I usually put whatever details I know ability in the description below the video! Welcome to my channel!⭐️⭐️
Thank you so much! I think you’re getting ready for bed! Haha! Have a great evening! I think I should be able to find that pen! Erica❤
Love it! I wonder if fishing line would work also? 🤔
Not sure how, maybe you could elucidate?
@@Chrissieanniemaybe run it behind one of the horizontal lines and tape the ends to each side? Then sandwich another one to the back to hide the fishing line?
@@Lfischer5481 I must be a little dense... I don't actually understand how this would work🤔
@@Chrissieannie no worries. I get it. I’m a visual learner so I need to see it. Sandwich the fishing line between 2 die cuts. Jennifer McGuire did it in one of her videos.
@@Lfischer5481 ok, I see what you mean now... The fishing line would still be visible but unobtrusive.. Yes?
Very pretty 😊
Thank you! 😊
Smear a bit of silver on the edge of the flower petal!?
You could if you wanted to!
did you try a piece of sticky tape on the top piece of plastic to help lift the piece
I have tried that yes, but I can still get in a pickle!🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely love this card. And as with so many of your beautiful cards, I tried to make this one. I bought the window sphere die from Altenew. Today I have tried several times to cut it out like you did but all the pieces in the middle do not come out clean. Some are partially cut. I have tried several ways of cutting this die. Running it back and forth several times, using wax paper or dryer sheets. Very disappointed with this die. Is there a way of getting a clean cut through all the middle pieces?? Thank you for any help you might be able to offer.
There are several options Janice. Firstly can your machine take an additional shim? A piece of card will do if you don’t have metal shims. Secondly, try to use the part of the cutting plates at the edges rather than in the middle. Thirdly, place the die with the cutting lines lying in the direction you are cutting rather than at right angles to it. Lastly, I don’t know what cutting machine you have, but if it would take a Sizzix Precision Plate as part of one of the sandwiches, these are great for cutting intricate dies!
Let me know how you get on! ❤️
@@Chrissieannie Thank you so very much for your suggestions. Some worked. I added 2 sheets of plain copy paper ( from my printer ) and placed the die in the direction you said. Again, thank you. My cutting machine is one from Stampin Up ...( stampin' cut & emboss ) not sure if I could use a Sizzix Precision Plate on it. I do use the Magic Mat. Thank you also for all the many beautiful cards you post each day. You do keep me busy.
How strange Janice, this comment was published yesterday and not only did I respond to it, but you then replied to my response! Is RUclips having a hiccup?
How or why is this being considered "floating".
The die cut isn’t touching the card base! The fact that it is touching the vellum is why the word floating is in parenthesis.
Such a lovely card!
Thanks so much!🤍🤍🤍
Lovely card!
