Four days later, she turned 14. Queen saw and were blown away this and posted it in their website. They let Angelina know that she can cover any of their songs whenever she wants. They also, a few months later, GAVE her the rights to her version of BRhapsody. She did get the golden buzzer .. from Heidi but it is not on all the videos. She and her family made the decision to not sign the contract when you're going to be in the finals that says if you win the contest, you have to sign with one of Simon's companies. He is a smart man, so he still had her sing a third song .. but you cannot win without the contract. Her second song, Yellow Brick Road, is also extraordinary and stunning. You can always check out this song performed this summer when she went back to Norway. Queen did give her the right to the song for her arrangement. And YES Heidi told'm to shut up and slammed that buzzer! They are still friends today.
No, she didn't win, - it was some circus act from India - but it hardly matters. She got what she wanted from the show - praise from Simon and an introduction to a mass American audience 😎
Hi Daz, background info.: Simon wanted to have AJ on the show for years, his viewing numbers went down. Angelina and fam, said NO. Because, to win this show you have to sign up with this gentleman. In the end Simon needed her more than a contract, AJ wanted the publicity in the US and Simon signed over all rights of her performances, so no winning. In reality it was a win-win, his views rocketed skywards and AJ was suddenly known in the US. Angelina knows her worth and is, as I told already, herself a boss of her own company. Yes, uncle Mike managed most of it, but AJ is also VERY good at Math, as her childhood BFF in a interview told. You can bet, she controls her company, especially as Uncle Mike had to look after Mery (AJ´sGrandma) his and Sara´s mom, when a very bad disease was diagnosed. Also he was a new dad. AJ has now 2 little cousins, she helps sometimes with, but her company needs her also. As I said before she has full artistic freedom at RR and hires her musicians exept her pianist, Rob Christie, he is the boss of RR studios LA. AJ needs full control about her videos, she draws her storyboards and director Mr. McCarthy bring them to live. Every little detail is thought thtoug by AJ, remember that when you see "Feeling good" at age 10. She controlled the whole stage. Her waving hands are a bit more than just artistry. When she sang Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (the next song in the competition), there is a line that runs, "I didn't sign up with you," and when she sings it the camera cuts to Simon. Someone was in the know!

You see, AGT-Champions was made up of previous AGT winners from past years. That meant that many of them were already under contract with some other management company or record label, for example. So your claim that I have quoted is highly suspect and needs verification.

There is another video on RUclips with the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum! It is interesting that since AGT, Heidi and Angelina have become close friends and have spent time together. I know Angelina was invited and attended Heidi's Halloween party this year.
It's nice to know the judges actually interact with contestants outside of the show.
@@Dazza010 actually Daz, It's not clear that that's the case routinely. I don't know if more than A couple of cases including Angelina although there could be more I don't know about. I do not think it's a regular happening But Heidi obviously was an enamoured with Angelina.

Absolutely amazing performance from 13 year old Angelina, this performance is classed as the best audition ever on a talent show and has over 100 million views, After this performance Angelina received the message from Brian May and Roger Taylor congratulating her on an amazing performance, and the guys from Queen gave Angelina the copyright to her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody, also Angelina received the Golden Buzzer and straight to the final, I’m pleased Angelina didn’t sign with Cowell as he doesn’t have the best record, Angelina signed with Republic Records aged 14 years old, and her relationship with her record company is excellent for Angelina as they allow her the freedom to progress in her own time and way , Angelina’s family are always involved, her uncle is her manager and Angelina’s grandmother is involved with production and is in the studio with Angelina, great reaction thanks 🙏

Angelina's answer to Simon was the song 'Yellow Brick Road'! Angelina is brilliant and wise beyond her years.
Daz she wrote the arrangement. This girl doesn't just sing the songs. Angelina chooses the songs she is going to sing and has from the beginning. She makes the changes in the songs. She writes the arrangements. Angeina's mom was asked where Angelina was going to do next after winning Norway's Got Talent. Her mom said that will be up to her, she is running this thing. If she wakes up tomorrow and doesn't want to do this anymore, you will never see any of us again. There is a reason Angelina is affectionately, but respectfully, called The Boss by the people she works with. She is no shrinking violet when it comes to her music. She is a benevolent dictator. No one has any hard feeling with her as they recognize her genius.
None of what I've written should in any way be taken that Angelina is any thing less than a sweet, tender-hearted, young woman. I've not heard of any dissenters. She is however a goal oriented person and is firm in her convictions of how she wants to achieve her goals. Thank you for your continued reactions to her work.

Excellent reaction Daz, She did not win. Although there is speculation that she was not allowed to win because she refused to sign the restrictive contract. In the end it worked out though because AGT had higher ratings, and Angelina got exposure to the american audience.
Jeff The speculation has no merit. Just made up stuff by over-zealous fans who could not fathom why she didn't win.
America Got TalentAGT (America Got Talent) had always been interested in bringing Angelina to the show, but with their normal contract, artists are being locked into a label, management, and other things for many years. Astar says that it didn’t matter if you get exposure or not, it was out of question to give away that right.
“Some time passed and they again contacted me, asking if she wanted to sing on their show. I convinced them to give me a contract where Angelina is free from any deal if she performs, she is great for their TV show and Angelina will get the exposure she needs to breakthrough, because I knew, the talent is one of the kind like no other, I just needed her to be seen and was on a daily hunt for how to get the right spot for her in the USA.” Interview by Michael Astar with Music Norway back in 2020

Yes, Golden Buzzer, you picked the wrong video 😕. She did WIN, she kept her choices open, as she was approached by MANY who wanted her to sign on their dotted line... She DID win, even MORE exposure than she already had from RUclips videos, She DID win, the hearts of the folks at REPUBLIC Records who signed her, and are complying with hers/her parents to allow her tome for her priorities, school, etc. Due for her first full release with Republic Records soon, the millions of fans around the globe are waiting in earnest.. She's a SUPERSTAR, She's loved, ....based on these things, it's my opinion that ANGELINA IS THE WINNER...her dream came true!!

One other comment. After she got the buzzer all 4 judges came on stage. That is rare. Simon can be heard saying I'm not sure you realize how good you are.
That is rare for these shows and just goes to show how incredible she is.
She knew when they did that interview that she was not going to win, there were some serious negotiations to get her on the show, they wanted her on the first AGT Champions, but the answer was NO, so this time they approached it differently, and they knew she would not sign no matter if she won or not, so they couldn’t let her win because there is a performance contract for the winner.
I think she got what she wanted, more exposure, even though she was well known in the music industry, but I would wager that she got paid very well for appearing on the show as the rabbit. She won NGT with 46% of the votes in the finals out of 10 acts, there is no way that if they allowed a real vote that she wouldn’t have won, especially when she followed this song with “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and was phenomenal. She was bigger than the show, already, they got the ratings and the fan rivalry with another singer on the show. They paid, but they got ratings in return.
By the time she appeared on the show she had done a world tour, including a performance at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony with Malala, and performing at Quincy Jones request singing a song he himself arranged for Frank Sinatra, and a cameo performance on the show Lillehammer singing Billie Holiday’s “I’m a fool to want you”, which she did a cappella on NGT to move into the semifinals, she didn’t need AGT, but they needed her, in the end I think they both were well rewarded.
Now with Republic Records, and a Grammy winning producer Rob Christie, you can already see the trajectory of her career taking off, she will be the Superstar she professed she wanted to be at 6, especially now that she is free to pursue her career.
You might want to know for future reference that Angelina’s Angels don’t like listening to cursing. There’s another video that shows the final judge and her comments. Rusty Shackleford on his You Tube home page keeps a running chronological list of Angelina’s songs. I’m sure you can find some upbeat ones there. Have fun!

Thank you for this and since the start of the channel I have spent hours responding to comments, taking recommendations etc but it's not possible to respond to all comments. I love doing the channel and have really enjoyed reacting to Angelina but I have kids to take care off and a house to run as well as doing this. I will always do my best but it isn't always possible.
@@Dazza010 Daz, this is certainly understandable as I raised two kids also, and if you recheck my message I said as many as possible. I know that not everyone can respond to every message. And the intent was not that you must do this, but rather the more you can the better.
Really, the most important part of my message If you read back is artist support. It only takes a minute to encourage viewers and leave links in your description. They're algorithms need help like yours do. You also direct viewers to the description where they will see your information as well. And it generates fan loyalty by helping their favorite artists. Myself and a few others who are involved as advocates for channels like yours now have well over 200 channels who have implemented these suggestions with success. Peace.

Hidei gave her the golden buzzer she also has 2 more AGT songs you need to hear,, she could not win the AGT show because her family had already decided they were not going to sign her onto a recording contract with Simon they had other plans,, but they still decided it would give AGT ratings and good American exposure for Angelina, knowing she was planing on signing with Republic Records in which she did do at age 14 wasn't long after leaving AGT at age 13... she is still good friends with Hidei Klum.. Hidei has taken Angelina under her wing and interdiction her to the right people and keeps her away from the bad people in the business I have no doubt Angilena while be guest starting in some modeling shoots as well as her singing carrier

Republic intends to have a long and fruitful relationship with Angelina. They know she's absolutely golden, and she'll only get better. Angelina is expected to drop her next album in the future. Angelina will graduate from high school next year at the age of 17. My guess is that this album may be timed to drop after graduating, allowing her to begin her (adult) professional career.

Hey Daz take notice. She did not win, but that was preordained because Angelina and her family were not going to give Simon or anyone else control of Angelina's career. They would have destroyed it. They had it in the contract that would not happen. You don't see it here but Heidi Klum gave her the Golden Buzzer. They are now great friends. And it always gets me when the stage hand gives her the mic and asks her it she knows what to do? You gotta be kidding! That's insane.

This performance is the most mesmerizing performance I have ever seen ❤️ The Arrangement and the beautiful voice was incredible ❤️ The confidence, and that dress is awesome ❤️ And ofcourse barefoot... she has kept that promise for 10 years now... you probably know the barefoot story of why she is barefoot while performing 👍 Goosebumps and chills is running through my body everytime i see and listen to that performance ❤️ Well... You are 13, this is a big chance for your career and, not only do you choose an iconic and difficult song but you choose to open it a capella. Either you are completely crazy or you are Angelina Jordan.
She got Golden Buzzer. Heidi Klum was last to speak and pressed it. Interestingly enough Angelina's song cannot be found on the AGT website - even though she got the Golden buzzer. when she sings I did not sign up with you video shows Simons's face - it feels like it was a personal message to Simon. To be sure Angelina did not have anything to do with editing the video - but somebody who edited the video may have thought this is a good place to see Simon's face.
Yes, she got the Golden Buzzer, but it was deleted from the clip. You can purchase her rendition of this on all the major outlets released under her own label. Because of the highly customized contract that Angelina's manager (her uncle) put in place, Angie would not have had to work for Simon if she won. Actually, she placed 6th, out of the running. All the other contestants were dancing and tumbling acts, better for the Las Vegas venue which came with winning anyway. Angelina may have wanted Simon's opinion but she did not want to contract with him if she won. Angie needed a huge forum in which to show off her talents to the American public and she got it. She won that.
John A showcase in Las Vegas and 1 million dollars are the prizes for the regular AGT winners; not for AGT-champions. I think that prize was $25k.
Great reaction Daz! You are becoming a must watch channel for Angelina fans. For me it's because you seem to be an authentic fan, not only pandering for views and subs. Keep it up. As for suggestions, it doesn't matter much, every performance of hers has been a jaw dropper.

Absolutely amazing performance from a musical genius, Angelina’s arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody has around 110 million views and is classed as the best performance ever on a talent show, after this performance Angelina received a tribute message from Brian May and Roger Taylor congratulating her on a absolutely amazing performance, and the guy’s from Queen gave Angelina the copyright to her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody, also Angelina received the Golden Buzzer from Heidi and straight to the final of the show, great reaction thanks 🙏

Thanks for yet another great reaction to another masterful reinterpretation & performance by Angelina - this time of Queen's epic song. She did get the Golden Buzzer from Heidi (there is another video available that shows that). Highly recommend her 2nd AGT performance - Yellow Brick Road. And if you listen closely to her lyrics, you'll hear her foretelling of the outcome of the "competition". Thank you.And may GOD continue to watch over & bless Angelina Jordan.

I suspect that's how you intrepret the song and, if so, why not be truthful and state that it's just your opinion? Instead of implying that what you've written is factual?

Hello, Daz! Awesome reaction! I tried to comment on this video from my other account yesterday, but I got blocked. I've made a new account😁, this one being an Angelina only account. I digress, sorry. You reacted to this performance pretty much the same way as most people do, it is just extraordinarily beautifully performed. And yes, she got the golden buzzer for it. The video containing that moment is on YT somewhere. And this was Angelina's arrangement. Queen gave her the copyright to this arrangement and also allowed her to perform it wherever she see fit. Quite the mark of recognition from a band that is known for being very protective of their material. I guess they all understood that that is what Freddie would have wanted as well.

Hey I just found your comment in the held for review section and marked it as fine so hopefully should be OK for future preferences. I think I have reacted to a few of her songs as other reactors would. It is hard to do it any other way because I have only known about her for less than a week lol. I really enjoyed this version though and as much as I like the Queen version I would probably prefer to listen to this one.

These shows are always fixed. AJ used this as a platform, while avoiding being caught in Cowell's web. As she sang in her next performance "I didn't sign up with you".
If you don't hear the judges speaking you will never see a golden buzzer don't you know how the show works

Daz, first of all she got the Golden Buzzer and there are video's of her reacting to it. Try to hook up to one of them. One shows her reaction with Heidi coming up to the stage to hug her. Another one has all the judges go up to the stage to greet her and Simon had something to say to her while he gently greeted her with a soft hug. Believe me, they are worth taking the time to find them.
Did she win? Let's put it this way, she performed 3 times during the Show, twice as a solo artist and once with 2 other performers which was an added attraction that had nothing to do with the outcome of the Show except to say it was a Show Stopping performance by the three of them. Angelina's appearance more resembled a Concert performance by her rather than an appearance on a talent show. I won't go into detail but I'll summarize it for you. AGT wanted Angelina to sign a contract binding her to them if she won or, even if she finished in the top 5. Her family refused and was ready to pack up and go home but they sat down and came to a compromise. Angelina could perform (AGT wanted her desperately to perform because they knew how great she was!) and Angelina's family wanted her to perform to get the exposure they sought for her in the USA and the rest of the world tuning in. BUT, she would not be eligible to win. Incredibly, she finished 6th! Ridiculous, of course. But, thank goodness she performed. There were 3 winners, AGT's rating were enormous (because of her and only because of her!), Angelina got the exposure she was seeking and it began a new chapter on her musical journey and, thirdly, we the fans, will never forget the moment we saw her sing this MASTERPIECE. Goosebumps galore, coming to tears (with the urge to cry!) and finding it difficult to string words together to make sentences during and right after her performance are indications the love in her voice (originating from her soul) has touched the hearts of people all over the world and once there, she will never leave.
Daz, what's so strikingly beautiful about listening to Angelina is, like you, going into the song you know it will be great, but it far exceeds anything in your wildest dreams you could have expected.
Robert You wrote about the family coming to a compromise with AGT, "BUT, she would not be eligible to win." Could you please give me a source or a link for that information? I find it hard to believe that she was lying when she had said (in tears) in the interview just prior to her performance, "I really want to win this show." And if what you claim is true, I highly doubt that the family would have negotiated such a condition without telling her.
@@103mrg Ponder this my good friend, we are talking about a major financial business decision about to be made locking up Angelina into a place where her supporters (her family) don't want her to be. It is very obvious the parties, AGT and AJ, had to come up with "something" or otherwise cancel her appearance. This goes beyond Simon Cowell. It is a major corporate decision that has to be addressed. If AGT let her perform without binding her to a contract, AND WIN, that would open the door for a parade of contestants trying to do the same thing. Never happen. Part of AGT's involvement in these type of shows is not just to get great tv ratings but to "take advantage" of budding stars because they believe they (AGT) should be rewarded for giving the contestant the chance to be seen and heard.
103mrg (?), if you were representing Angelina in the situation, what would you do? Everyone on your side is very excited about getting exposure in the USA and to the rest of the world and, no one more than Angelina herself. She has been waiting to sing for Simon for 10 years (since she was 3 years old!!!). AGT "recruited" Angelina to appear on the show. They knew how great she was and wanted her to be featured on their show. BUT, then came the time to sign a binding contract. That contract gives AGT total control over the artist if they win and even to a limited control if they finish in the top 5. There is no way you will ever agree to those terms. Her track record of turning down Disney, David Foster, etc., speaks for itself. They were in a position to call the shots, not some corporate entity looking to make money off of her talent. So, it came down to a compromise, IT HAD TO! AGT would "allow" her to perform under the condition she cannot win or even finish in the top 5 because that would greatly disrupt the way they do business. They were already altering their policy by even offering her to appear without a contract. They wanted her very badly to perform because they knew what she would add to their ratings.
On the aside, to further complicate matters and give AGT a "way out" they contrived a voting for the winner format which has to go down in history as the most ridiculous format ever devised. "One person in every State has one vote" and, that's it. Hmmm, have those "voters" ever been interviewed? Could we ever find out who they are and who they voted for? What do you think? Anyway, back to you. AGT wants her to perform even though they will do so without a binding contract. But, she can't win. You represent Angelina and want very much not to go home and want the exposure in the USA and including the worldwide audience watching her on tv. Do you tell Angelina "exactly" what is going on and tell her the whole story? Or, do you think it's best for her not to know and let her perform with all her heart and touch the hearts of millions of people around the world? So, let's say you keep it a "secret" and let her perform on the show. OF COURSE SHE WINS THE SHOW. Probably a landslide decision! But, no, she doesn't. When does Angelina find out what transpired (that she didn't win, or even make it into the final 5 (how ridiculous!)? If you get a chance to see the results to eliminate her on tv (I have a feeling that video is well hidden by AGT) she is standing next to Marcelito Pomoy (a wonderful singer) and one of them has to be eliminated. The one who is eliminated finishes 6th (see what I mean) and is not "eligible" for any other considerations in regards to AGT. Angelina appeared very subdued before the choice was made as to who would continue on. BTW, the audience was in complete shock that AGT had pitted both these singers against one another knowing one of them would be "going home"! The announcement is made and Angelina is eliminated. There is no emotional reaction from her and she passively walks off the stage. "In my opinion", based on everything I have just said, I believe, in my heart, she knew the outcome of the announcement before it occurred. Only "my opinion".
Controversy, of course, but thank goodness she did appear on the show. Everyone came out a winner: AGT, Angelina and we, the fans (her 'angels') from all over the world who got the chance to see and listen to her perform. Is it necessary to get "testimony" of what transpired at that time? It will never happen unless someone really wanted to search around and find out everything.
103mrg (?), you want a source or a link for that information? Only a select few people in the world knew what went on and we will never find out anything from them. AGT was bombarded with complaints about the matter and, "in my opinion', still hasn't recovered from all the negative comments they received.

“Well, after the NGT (Norway Got Talent) a lot of things happened, like from every corner. People wanted to be a part of it and started to discretely fly into Norway to try to be part of the team. We are talking about huge names, they would come in private jets and make it look like you can have it all and then you see their contract and be like, nah man, this is not a gimmick, this is the real deal, with all due respect, we gotta pass on this one, and they would be furious, because they never heard someone deny them or don’t get what they want, especially when there was an extreme amount of money involved.”
America Got TalentAGT (America Got Talent) had always been interested in bringing Angelina to the show, but with their normal contract, artists are being locked into a label, management, and other things for many years. Signed with Republic Records Angelina Jordan has now signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. Astar says the commitment with the right interest in mind has been one of the most important things when choosing a team and partners to be part of Angelina’s team.

@@delmamekenya5286 Thanks, Delma. I have read it a while ago and Michael has been very consistent through the years in how he is representing Angelina. Therefore, he did compromise with AGT because the end result would be beneficial to her. The fact that he "convinced" AGT that she should remain free from any deal was a stipulation AGT apparently agreed to. But, perhaps this is where my "opinion" of what happened can change. Instead of "Angelina can't win" being a part of the "compromise", it was not spoken about in the compromise. Instead, AGT had to determine what to do. They obviously determined she could not win, or finish in the top 5 because it would upset there format of "owning" the contestant. Delma, everything had to do with AGT owning her, or not. What would the winner get ($$$) for winning? Never brought up? Peanuts. Angelina's life and career were the issues which demanded so much attention. SO, maybe NO ONE on Angelina's side could have predicted the outcome. But, the opinion I will never change is that AGT definitely knew what the outcome would be because they decided exactly how it would turn out.
Delma, thank you for taking the time and effort to send me your comment. I can come to a conclusion that Michael did not in any way mislead anyone. I want to believe that. And, if so, then AGT had to wrestle with the idea of what to do. They chose a road which was best for them but it resulted in a very ugly period of time for them.
@@RobertDeMartin I'll just make a few points here: Delma kindly copied the Music Norway interview with Uncle Mike to remind you that a contract WAS signed; albeit a non-standard contract. (And Angelina might not have been the only one. Since this was AGT-Champions and contestants were previous winners from past years of different AGT franchises, many of them were already signed to management, record label, talent agency, etc. contracts [and were not necessarily "budding stars"]. So contracts were a complicated issue for the Champions show and much different from the regular AGT.) There was, however, no mention anywhere, not ever, about Angelina being unable to win. No one has produced one shread of evidence of this. (It's not unlike the myth about performing barefoot until all the children in the world have shoes. Not one shread of evidence has ever been produced that she said this.) Over-zealous fans who could not accept that she didn't win concluded that "the fix was in" and so she COULDN'T win. Just made up stuff to placate the disbelievers who couldn't fathom her losing. It's just another conspiracy theory, no different than the one about Angelina singing Yellow Brick Road to send a message to Simon.....About your comment that you believe she knew the outcome based on her unemotional, subdued and passive demeanour when she heard that she was eliminated. Have you considered that perhaps her attitude might have been the consequence of her grandpa being severely ill, in pain, and in the hospital (only to die a couple of weeks later)?

She was the only contestant to receive The Golden Buzzer in this show, yet did not get voted in to the Top 5 by the supposed "50 Super Fans" that no one ever saw. @@Dazza010 I think he meant that she was the only contestant that received the golden buzzer that did not reach the top 5 finalists (not sure if it is correct). 3 other contestant got the golden buzzer from the other judges (Boggie storm, V. unbeatable, the silhouttes)
