I've never been put off high mileage as long as it's had proper servicing on time. And it shows how reliable it's been 👍

Knocking front suspension - did it sound/feel like it was coming from somewhere near the front of the footwell? If so then could be anti roll bar bushes. Bit of a pig of a job but not the end of the world.

Where are you based? My Alfa GT V6 Busso is looked after by Autolusso in Bournemouth. Absolutely brilliant people who are Alfa specialists. I live almost 2 hours away but I'd rather they look after my car than anyone else.

Just up from you in Weston Super Mare, Auto Capozzoli in Yeovil will be doing any specialist work to it, cambelt, etc.
