Collier's whole game is based around taking fadeaway shots, which she is deadly at but it doesn't translate to a lot of contact and trips to the line. Notice in the last few minutes when she did pull out her inner Reggie Miller and initiated contact with JJ & then Stewart she was immediately rewarded by the referees both times. And on defense nobody in the league gets a more lenient whistle than Napheesa Collier. I used to think Aja was top dog, but after watching this series so far I don't think Aja Wilson even gets away with the amount of physicality she gets away with. I'd be gobsmacked to learn that she ever even fouled out of a single game in the WNBA.

It was McBride and I don’t remember who else but they backed their hands away and avoided contact but the foul was given. I would be upset if the WNBA started handing out fouls for physical play. The NBA is being affected by this badly and creating foul merchants that make the game not fun to watch. I want to see physical defense not someone shooting free throws all game idk about you
