    Totally agree with your comments with Lusk Archery. Liked your channel so much I subscribed and made a recent Killer Instinct Vital X crossbow purchase. Your content is relevant and legit.

    Nice video! I agree with you that Jon Lusk is the premier broadhead tester on RUclips! He dies an amazing job and he uses a consistent, tried and true system for every test. He’s exclusively a compound bow guy and doesn’t really test for crossbow. PS I’m sticking with Magnus Black Hornet serrated this Fall! I’ve had great success with them on hogs with both my Barnett Jackal and Raptor FX!!

      Black hornets are great, several of my friends use ‘em. Good luck this fall, Boomer!

      Just the opposite for me using them. I sold mine on crossbow nation.

    I know that you tested the vented.. Have you tried the none vented in the 150? Any thoughts? The non vented tend to be quieter in down range flight, but didn’t know if they would be as accurate?

    I chose the Magnus Stinger for a Longbow Moose hunt in Alaska! You’re absolutely Right! Incredible Broadhead, unfortunately, I did not get to try it out on a moose, but it has worked for me on Deer with better results than the 315 grain Ashby!!!

      It's my favorite broadhead! Glad you've had success with it as well.

    Nice, I tried my 150 grain day six broadheads at 75yds for fun and was amazed at how darn accurate it was. Right in the dot.
    My anhilator 150 grain cxl heads are only accurate about to 50yds, then start impacting Low after that, 65-70 yds are 6 inches low. This matches my findings with my compound bows as well the extra large versions of field the annihilators a do not fly with your field points out past 50-60yds.

    I’m shooting a black hornet ser razor from my Barnett XP 350 crossbow and man the flight and penetration is awesome that’s for sure

    Concur on the two-blade stingers. I have had very similar accuracy and after nock tuning, my field points and stingers hit same POA/POI.

  • @scottmyers4802
    @scottmyers4802 2 года назад

    Had same flight results. Bare shaft and nock tuned. 150 buzz cuts. 600 grains total arrow weight .Dead on with my field tips out to 40. Pse bow madness at 65# draw. Note I don't shoot at game past 40. Just my preference.

      Those are great heads as well! I personally have gotten a little better flight out of the stinger 2 blade. Can’t go wrong with Magnus though!

    What about planing? Have you seen any planing with this broadhead?

    • @draggindeeroutdoors
      @draggindeeroutdoors  9 месяцев назад +1

      Excellent question. With this broadhead...no. It's the best flying fixed blade I've shot. Other two blades I have seen planing. Try em, you won't be disappointed.

  • @GunnyArtG
    @GunnyArtG 2 года назад

    I'll probably pick up a pack of these. I may have gotten lucky with the big fixed blades I'm currently using. The vents could be the difference in not getting a weird planing effect.

    Great video as always! I’ll be ordering me the Magnus Stinger two blade 150 grain. One can never have to many Qaulity broad heads😂. I have a bolt that is a flyer as well even after Paper tune and knock tune. Now it’s just a practIce bolt. Continue the good work with your videos! I also shoot exodus 125g and annihilators 150g which are very accurate as well. I even have some Tuffhead 400g Double bevels that I shoot enormous Tx fed hogs!

    How do you align 2 blade broadheads with the fletchings?

    • @draggindeeroutdoors
      @draggindeeroutdoors  10 месяцев назад +1

      I don’t! 😁 As long as the arrow is tuned to the crossbow, the 2 blades fly just fine.

    I dont understand the obsession with penetration when using a crossbow that has plenty of energy to easily pass through any deer at normal hunting ranges. Energy used to bury the arrow in the deer is wasted energy. Bigger holes=faster, shorter recoveries in my experience.
