A much simpler answer is, to put the lid and seat down for everyone. That way it is fair and just and even for everyone. No matter whether a male or a female. Whatever you are in there to do, peeing pooping or both, the seat lid is lifted and or the toilet seat and lid are lifted at the same time, then put down when finished. Problems solved and better hygiene if you care.
