@@robertssmorgasbord since a while i'm also repurposing old (IT) equipment for project boxes. If you want to buy such a similar box, they charge you a arm and a leg for it.
@@BjornV78 So true! I still have a 19'' 1U server case somewhere. Back in the days (as a student) I payed a couple of bucks for it (used). Nowadays they go for at least a hundred.

Yup, exactly what I thought. So I kept them including the PCBs (as templates for the mounting holes' positions).
