How to Mix Vocals in n-Track Studio

- We've had a few requests about mixing vocals in n-Track. So, we teamed up with Lenea - a singer from Norway - to walkthrough developing vocals within an n-Track session.

In this video we go through removing background noise / hiss with the Noise Gate preset in the n-Track Compressor & we use VocalTune for subtle vocal correction. We explore sending tracks to Groups and Aux channels & we also explain the Reverb, Multiband Compressor, and nTube plugins, as well as Graphic EQ.

nTrack I would like to know the differences between the different nTrack versions. Obviously the more you pay the more you get instrument wise. However I am not sure exactly what you get with nTrack Studio Suite compared to nTrack Studio extended.

I can't convince the PC version that I'm the same person as I am on the iPad version, lol. But it did reassign me the persona I had on the Android app version, which I actually forgot I had. It was free. My "tracks" which were the results of my wanking about with my mobile were laid out, which I thought was funny. Upon playing those old trax back, I was a little surprised that they sounded as okay as they did, because the non MIDI tracks were mic'd with the Android phone's built-in mic. Could have desperately used a noise gate, but besides that, the audio trax sounded kind of good. It gave a good, lo fi 70s punk rock sound, I thought. Good work from the guys at nTrack for knowing how to implement things in ways which maximize their effectiveness.

Sounds great, but...Knowing what to do with all the options and knowing which ones to choose requires either experience as a studio engineer or a LOT of trial and error using the app!

Using the iOS app if you're recording vocals to an instrumental but Instead of "one taking" your verse you have to keep creating new audio tracks To get the whole verse down but once I'm done I'd like to somehow make all those vocal audio tracks to one track but I'm not sure how to do that?

Hi, one solution is to select the 'Settings' gear icon in the bottom right of this RUclips video and select 'Subtitles/CC', then click 'Auto-translate' and you can select from most languages.

So I've been using ntrack for almost 2 years now and I haven't found annnyone that can help me with this issue I've had the entire time I'm like on the verge of giving up on Ntrack im using it on pc with no mic Amp so my mic and head phones are connected directly to my computer well the issue I'm having is, is that when I insert my instrumental and attempt to record my vocals my mic picks up the instrumental as if my headset is set right on top of my microphone to where if I mute the instrumental I can hear it clear as day in the recording. Like turning the instrumental down to like -36.9 works to prevent the mic from not capturing the instrumental but that's jank and I know there's gotta be a better way please help 🙏 if you can ):
I have a major question. I have a cousin who does music using another platform. When I try to share as a multi track it is not alley g me to. How do I fix this. I also tried saving it as a zip file in my drop box and it also does not allow me to. I don’t want to have to remake 100 projects I already have. Any videos on this as I see many videos but nothing on what I’m looking for. The app my cousin has me using is garage band as the platform he uses is one that works with garage band so we can work on projects together. As he is way more experienced and has a ton more music than myself. Please please please is there any way to make a video on this?

Hey n track, when i record my voice directly with the app and do some more lines, they are allways a little off and i need to change that by hand. How can i fix that?
Hi michi ria, thanks for the comment - for the n-Track Studio app, move the playhead to where you want, then long press & select 'slice' to cut the audio part. Then make sure that 'Enable snap to grid' on the grid is not enabled so you can select and move your audio freely. To see how to select this check out ruclips.net/video/3HBHyVTK9pY/видео.html . Just after this timecode there's an example of slicing an audio part too.
