The thing about the secret identity problem when it comes to a romantic relationship is yes, you shouldn't just reveal your earth-shattering secret to someone you started dating but at the same time, you can't keep jerking your partner around by making it seem like you want this relationship to work out only to constantly flake on them. I'm not saying that a hero shouldn't stop crime to enjoy a date but by constantly sucking out on your date, you come off as a huge asshole to them even if what you're doing is for the greater good of everyone. But you're also an asshole for prioritizing a date over saving lives. It's a literal lose-lose either way unless the hero ropes their partner into the loop by telling them their secret. But the problem with the whole "Waiting a year to tell them your secret" is that because of the constant ducking out on dates, the person would be lucky if the relationship even lasted half a year. It really depends on just how patient the partner in this situation is, but they do have a right to be mad since from their point of view, it seems like their partner doesn't care about them as much as they say they do. At that point, heroes might as well stop trying to date regular civilians altogether since compared to dating another superhero, you don't have to worry about those problems since they'll understand. But if that was the case, it'd be a lot less interesting. Most heroes tend to suck at balancing their life as their alter ego and personal romance lives with only a few of them being able to manage both that allows for the relationship to flourish enough to the point that they can trust their partner with their secret. Hence often the case the hero tends to reveal their identity a lot sooner since this person may be someone, they want to want to marry one day with it working out about 90% of the time. There's no right answer to this since it's just super complex and has a lot of layers to it.
Though not to be pedantic, for the whole "Lois couldn't have been sure that Clark was Superman" she did know that Clark was Superman. The previous episode had Lois come to the conclusion that Clark was Superman with the next episode basically confirming it for Lois multiple times between Clark lifting a box of heavy dumbbells like it weighed nothing (before tossing it on a cabinet that collapsed from the weight) disappearing in front of Lois every time a crime was announced on the police radio and Lois basically telling him to his face that she KNEW he was Superman. Now does that justify her jumping off a building. No, but she had an abundance of proof that Clark was Superman, and she knew that Clark wouldn't let her go splat. Also, I do agree that the reveal happened way too fast + as much as I love this incarnation of Clois, it did happen too fast.
As for Amber, Invincible was trying to do the very same thing that My Adventures with Superman did but unlike MAWS in which we were given scenes that tell the audience "Lois knows that Clark is Superman," we didn't get any of that with Amber. So rather than making Amber come off as smart, it makes her come off as awful. She does have the right to be mad to a certain point since, despite all of Mark's claim that he wanted this relationship to work, he didn't trust her enough with his identity, but that also doesn't undermine the fact that her being mad over him ditching her even though she saw him protecting her and everyone else life made her come off as awful. I get what they were trying to do but they REALLY dropped the ball.
TLDR, when it comes to secret identities and romantic relationships with civilians, there's a dozen factors to take into consideration with some stories doing the identity reveal better than others.

the Danny Phantom graphic novel a glitch in time, at the end of the book it retcons danny revealing his secret identity to the world, and yes, the graphic novel is 100% canon to the show

Spider-man in the MCU revealing his identity to everybody and their mother. Example him taking his mask off in far from home in front of fury and mysterio, in front of all the cameras, agents and workers there

honestly I'll say with Lois, her falling off riskily is def in-character otherwise, but yeah very insane admittedly.
I mean this doesn't faze me as much as Amber otherwise which people should just fkn stop comparing cause this is such a different situation to this, like obviously that one is more illogical than this. Esp how the show goes out its way to paint Lois' actions rather reckless or not so savvy to contrast Clark's very goodness every episode, like that shoulda just been their clue enough to said people on this. It's like they shoulda watched the entire show if anything. Sorry for the rant, but damn people stupid.
The thing with it feeling a little too fast, yeah that I get, but somehow I don't mind it honestly (I could say it's alright paced for me). Tho I could say a factor for that, I def chock it up with the fear of this getting cancelled so they had to unfortunately gut a lot of planned content out if that's the case. I def feel it when they've announced season 2 right after esp and there's screenshots of Heatwave and Livewire that I can't find in this season, which does feel like they're making it back to back so there could be unfortunate circumstances this show won't pass season 3. It's only a guess otherwise so don't take my word at face value.
But yeah these are def some interesting thoughts in this in vid.

Hmm I mean my one gripe My Hero is that actually, like I love it and all.
But when they're broadcasting a tournament with ALL the upcoming heroes, I immediately thought:
"Umm guys, shouldn't you do this IN YOUR COSTUMES?" Cause they're just in uniform AND they're using their real names. Meanwhile some villains were watching the event...
Like that's a pretty easy way to be exposed guys!
But eh that's just me I think.
