- A on foot look at the Nike ISPA Sense Flyknit ‘Enigma’ in a size 13.
During my relaxing walk, I admire two projects from unrelated industries that were inspired by nature. The Sense Flyknit from Nike ISPA in a size 13 and the Biosphere 2 from University of Arizona. In this video I provide a opinion of the sneaker and the current status of the sneaker community. Additionally, you will see clips of the exhibits within the Biosphere 2. This is not a sneaker review. This is a design appreciation video with the sneakers on feet. Enjoy

Wonderful take on ispa and this model in particular
hey I was looking for an honest review, you just sold me a pair. I was debated btw few colors I would probably go with same color as well!
That is a good review, great quality images, please keep uploading!
Thanks!
Thank you for the motivation. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
@@Aye_Wilks thank you
This is a dope review… not a sneaker head but this makes me want to become one… when is the next review????
🙏🏾Working on it this weekend
I just picked up pair of red ones. They are funky but I am a fan of strange and innovative shoes so I think they are great.
I’m the same way. It feels great to have something different on my feet
Aye, bro, I just found your review as I am considering buying these today. Great presentation..
They are on sale with a promocode for $98
Thank you. $98 for this shoe is a heck of a deal. I hope you enjoy them
Haven't worn them yet.. I'll make them part of my Thanksgiving fit!!!
Just catching up. Did you grab a pair? Did you vibe with them, or was it not for you?
@Aye_Wilks I wore them a couple weekends ago to the Farmers Market, as I was waiting in line to buy something a woman asked what kind of shoes they were and even took a picture of the shoes. Definitely worth the $98 I paid. Thanks for following up.
Great content! 🫡
Thank you 🫡
yup...you did...Gonna buy a pair today actually, thanks 🤙. Also, I think that the reason why the focus is on nostalgia in a lot of firms these days is because selling you a reinterpretation of a better more "simple" times were you were young and everything was just a little bit better is just a good business idea with a safe way of maximizing revenue... I mean who would not relive a day or a week from when you were young? But you can't...and the next best thing you could do is to buy something that embodies that moment in time like a product or an experience that is designed to make you feel closer to that moment in time... so, if the price is right you would go for it, the idea is fine and great from a revenue standpoint, but I have the same opinion as you "live for the future" and it's a shame that not a lot of companies are interested in sacrificing revenue for a better cause + revenue, to risk to make it better (whatever that might be) sacrificing revenue for RND and risking to lose it or maybe make it back with a little bit extra...and I think that's a shame if you do something just to make money wtf are you actually doing? you are not actually doing anything... you are not contributing with anything...just spinning in circles...
You’re right, nostalgia is definitely a safe bet and a very smart business move. It captures the adult customer, and potentially their children. However, I’m happy there are designers/sectors that are tasked to push things forward. But we won’t see a lot of it until we, the consumer, are ready for something new. I’m happy that I helped introduce that to you. What color do you think you’re gonna pick?
got light bone🤙
I never said congrats, but congrats. Do you still rock em?
uuumm mno, gonn sell them, very bad confort my foot feels like its siting on top of the sole and not locked in...they squick at every step...and that's very very anoying, but most of all the sole is not that confortable, I dunno what they used but the react vision beats them at every class, shame cuz they look cool tho, guess it was always all bark and no bite with ISPA shoes...
Damn bruh. I’m sorry to hear that. Go with comfort. Different strokes for different folks
these are different but i like it!
Definitely different. That’s the coolest part to me
Is the midsole squishy comfy? Does the TPU support digging in your arch when standing out walking?
They are comfy but I wouldn’t call it squishy. If I had to compare it to anything, it’s like a firmer version of boost. My entire foot feels supported and I don’t feel anything “digging in my arch” at any point. I hope that helped
Hi do they have good ventilation? (All the holes looks promising but being high top worries me) thanks!
There’s a lot of ventilation. The Flyknit helps and the holes throughout the entire upper provide a lot of ventilation. I’ve worn them once in 80degree weather and there wasn’t an issue. Better ventilation than a Air Max 98 or any other leather (synthetic leather) upper I own.
I just want them cause they look really comfortable & different lol
You’ll definitely get some looks. I see eyes glancing down every time I enter a room.
I bought them today, and it turned out that their insoles rub against the right side of the sneaker on the left foot, and against the left side on the right foot and make a squeaking sound, I had to change the insoles, has anyone encountered this? (Rub against the part in the middle where the ISPA inscription is)
Yea. The shoes definitely squeaked. I put powder in them at first but then I just got used to it. Never thought about changing the insole
What pants are those and where did you buy it?
They look fire
Nike ACG pants, bought them from Nike.com
@@Aye_Wilks 👌👌
I copped two pair , I think these are dope
What colors did you get?
@@Aye_Wilks black/smoke grey and the phantom/coconut milk
Word. I really wanted the phantom when it first came out but couldn’t get a hold of em. Bought em for my wife though.
True to size?
Man. I hate that I didn’t see this message in a timely manner bruh. They’re true to size for me
I love them but didnt like how the shoes had holes on the side, im fine with fabric uppers but not with holes that big on the side
Understandable. You really don’t notice them when they’re on tho, but I get it
We sent time capsules to that BioSphere in high school.
It’s a small world.
I’m more of a retro sneaker guy. I prefer the low top sneakers
How’s the fit compared to Vapormax?
I never owned a vapormax and I’m not sure which model you’re referencing, but I would imagine the Nike ISPA Sense has a little more width. I only say that because the toe box is more rounded when compared to any of the vapormax models. The upper of the Sense is Flyknit just like majority of the vapormax, so it will feel close to the same.
Are they comfortable like yeezy’s?
Only pair of YZYs I have are the 450s and they aren’t that comfortable to me. Closest thing I have is a pair of ultra boost, and they aren’t as comfortable. They’re soft and comfy but the ISPA Sense doesn’t compare to the boost comfort. They’re good enough to stand in all day with no discomfort though.
Can i wash these in the washing machine?
My wife washes her’s in the washing machine. She lets it air dry tho. Hasn’t damaged the shoe from what I see.
@@Aye_Wilks thanks alot!!!
Man Idk what color way I want. I love the blue ones but that bright ass orange throws me off..
Lol, yea that orange is a big pop.
@@Aye_Wilks I ended up with these egnina. They're very nature-y lol
Lol. You’ll love em. They’re great in shorts with some good socks too. Brown is the new black….I’m pretty sure that’s not true but Imma stick by it
