The colour and fade is way off on these,they dont have the og logo on the insole and no og box,materials seem a little off aswell,nike have cheaped out on this one
Really? I didn’t know the material seemed off. It wouldn’t surprise me. I feel like everything we all once loved has been cheapened for efficient bulk production.
@@Aye_Wilks yeah the overall upper material is now really thin and cheap,i worked for footlocker when the air max plus originally released and from then till now they have became almost like fakes compared to the originals

You’re not wrong. If you want it, go get it by any means. However, there are people, even organizations built to rob people of a fair chance, and prey on a consumer in order to make additional money on a product they had no part in. It’s forcing consumers to deal with an unneeded middle man for an extra cost. Just because it exists, doesn’t make it right.
its sad that people that really love shoes gotta suffer over people that just wanna be in the loop! this why I stopped back in 2011 grew up my whole life getting the new hotness loving sneaks when everyone wasnt hyping exclusive shoes! its alot of lames on here with shoe channels as well they part of the problem!
I partially agree. I’m not gonna call them lames, but I imagine there are a few talking heads that are in it for different reasons. The spot light they add does contribute to the hype, which is used as bait for consumers.

Yea, I feel you. I’ve definitely been tempted to join the race of content creators, but it doesn’t seem realistic for me and my passion. I’m having a hard time convincing myself to put extra money on an item with the main purpose of talking about it. I wanna keep it realistic to my wallet and my actual likes. But I can understand the temptation to fake it a little bit. Fake kinds equals more views and more money.
Facts, I arrived at this conclusion after the Trophy Room low raffle BS some months back. I don’t have the time or patience to be jumping through hoops for a damn shoe. It’s 2024 😂
I stopped back in 2016! shoe game was rought from about 2009-forward to now current times ima 80s baby I was around for all the OG MJ releases! before Nike even started retroing sneaks back in the 90s its really breaks my heart to see how people who dont really love sneaks ruined the game like this! lames are taking over
Yea. The world doesn’t rotate without someone profiting off a passion (their own, or someone else’s), but it’s out of balance and needs to be corrected.

For myself i gave up! its too much hassle and these vampires mark up non retail chain pairs! last grabs i got were remasterd french blue viis columbia ivs and the obsidian xvis first time retroing! aint purchased none since

It’s becoming more and more difficult. Especially when you don’t reside in a Top Market (New York, California, Japan, etc.)
If you’re tired of fighting the world to give your petty little money then quit. Stop running to RUclips to complain about being tired further burning time, resources, energy and labor making a video. Just quit and go on with your life. This is what females do. They cry, complain and threaten to quit if they don’t get their way. Your free to quit hell hurry so u can get out our way. Acting like the world owes u something like the world of businesses were born and bred to take exactly your money. Your money means nothing to them. They could personally take your money every damn time and next year still file for bankruptcy. Running a successful business is more than just taking peoples money, it’s taking the right peoples money at the correct time. Running a business is about creating a market, drive up cost of the goods by creating scarcity of the good then pounce on the buyers money when it’s at its peak value or highest cost of ownership. Lots of times that means weeding out people like you who complain that means they broke. Therefore create a market for the ones who didn’t complain, they have the money. They don’t want your money silly, the goods are limited they must sell to the highest bidder not the first bidder. Learn how the barter system works before u complain about the barter system. It keeps businesses in business by creating scarcity of a wanted good then pounce when it’s at its highest cost of ownership. It’s the very reason StockX in business and Retro Jordan’s are expensive.

Right. There is a shoe released every other blue moon that I can’t pass up, but I have a limit on how much pay for that. My last was the Adidas x Clot Superstar Core Black. Wasn’t cheap but i was comfortable with it. But even that transaction adds to the problem

Kinda harsh, but you’re not wrong. Resellers/Companies/Brands depend on consumer FOMO (fear of missing out). That’s how consumers become prey.

I think the Jordan brand is a little lost rn, it needs innovation, newness, evolution, but it’s struggling with how to move on from Micheal’s shoes beyond making a ‘golf’ version or a ‘skateboard’ version or even a ’workwear’ version. I agree. Nike would do well if it just update some older models with the goal of increasing comfort. I’ve been concerned about the Jordan Brand for a hot minute. They could never get past the older models. Majority of its consumers wouldn’t accept anything outside of retros. I’m not fully back, but we’re getting there

SkateBoarding? that is inteligence.. wooow, u can see people who are skateboarding use a lot of time Nike SB, also you know nike trying make shoes for some types of sport.. and also you can see the materials, and if u do some skateboarding like a child, u know you need tough boots, because the trick on skate will destroy you shoes everytime scratch by scratch from the grip material for stable stand while it move and you ride it

My wife washes her’s in the washing machine. She lets it air dry tho. Hasn’t damaged the shoe from what I see.

I can’t say. This is the first pair of Superstars I bought in close to a decade. It’s seems as though Adidas changed its sizing, so I’m going a half size down with Adidas. I suggest you stay with the your normal sizing

This shoe reminds me of the new balance 574 by TDS. That shoe is hard to find but these superstars look so damn classy while allowing it to be dress down
I agree. I loved the NB 574 Tokyo Design Studios, but I didn’t believe i could pull them off when they released, so I slept on them. I prefer the small details of this pair tho. It looks so good and is so versatile
I love these. They look almost like patent leather, like halfway between a sneaker and a dress shoe. The tassles aren't my style so I took them off but people are staring so that's a good sign.
Yea, I love the look of versatility. You not liking the tassels is interesting. They make the shoe to me, but I can understand it.

Yea, 3M/reflective doesn’t bother me that much. I can deal with that

Stoked you persevered and got them. I’m guessing I might be one of the three! I am absolutely loving mine. Going to Vegas in May, and those are coming along for the ride. These are so versatile for a Vegas Trip. A tier above casual but not too dressy. I’m curious how you rock yours. I flipped the tongue down on time and it gave it a cool vibe. I’ll definitely keep things going. Thanks for the motivation
I feel they are a ‘hybrid’ shoe, so I’ve dressed accordingly. Tan chinos, brown belt, white linen loose shirt, cream waffle loose crew worked for an art gallery exhibition. Chocolate brown corduroy (!) pants (Levi’s) ecru shirt and a tweed blazer worked well for drinks and a charcuterie board with the missus. It’s VERY different from anything I’ve owned, I’m still exploring and experimenting. But the buzz has not worn off!

Is the midsole squishy comfy? Does the TPU support digging in your arch when standing out walking?
They are comfy but I wouldn’t call it squishy. If I had to compare it to anything, it’s like a firmer version of boost. My entire foot feels supported and I don’t feel anything “digging in my arch” at any point. I hope that helped

No, I don’t have them, and I may regret that. I still think they would definitely age well, but that price (retail) doesn’t seem to be worth to me anymore. I could be wrong though. I had a fever and I’m dealing with an Electrician handling my project unprofessionally so I’m super tight about my money. I think I’m just sensitive right now, lol
