Sure these guys can be a bit pretentious at times, but my god, the absolute beauty and genius of their songwriting, as well as their harmonizing, progressions, and also instrumentation, I mean, talk about genuine talent. Birdtalker goes beyond anything a music junkie could wish for. ‘One’ is one of the best indie albums I’ve heard in years and the songs this group makes are pure and potent ‘earoin’. It’s a bit depressing how under recognized they are. Share if you can!
Eight years ago I lost my father to cancer. He and I weren’t close, in fact we only spoke once over the phone in 14 years. Went to the funeral. Aunts and uncles behaved in a totally predictable manner. It sucked. I needed to leave. But the thought of sitting alone at my hotel was overwhelming. I'm not much of a constant koom-by-awe collective happy all the time kind of person. Truthfully, I try but am incapable. As we get older, we have less tolerance and a shorter fuse for interferences. As the world quickly evolves faster than we can keep up,, it feels like we're being forced into the fake corner of the Pleasantville universe. This song is one of the few that is unexpectedly relatable to anyone.. It isn't sad.. It isn't uplifting. It's just, powerful. Jesus whom is the one and only true God and Creator came to earth 2000+ years ago to go to the cross to pay our sin debt in full. His sacrifice was sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death and that true and only God is JESUS! And He did all that because He wants to save our souls and have a relationship with us. Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him, He's the only way to Heaven, only He can save us from sin and from hell ( John 14, Romans 6:23, Luke 13:3). He won't cast you away from Himself if you come to Him. He calls us all to repentance, He wants to save us. believe and have faith in God then the Holy Spirit will come in and lead you to repent of your sins and God will forgive you of your sins and cleanse you by the blood of Jesus and you'll get born again by His Holy Spirit (John 3:3-19).

Some of the judgments in Revelation are more easily imagined in a nuclear age. John 3:36 says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” Those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their savior will remain under the Lord’s wrath. The good news is that it’s not too late to choose eternal life. All that is required is acceptance, by faith, of God’s free gift of grace. At the turn of the 20th century, no one would have dreamed that Israel would be back in her land, let alone occupying Jerusalem. Jerusalem is definitely at the center of geopolitics and stands alone against many enemies; Zechariah 12:3 confirms this: “On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.” Matthew 24:6-7 predicted that “nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” “Wars and rumors of wars” are definitely characteristic of this present age.
These are just a few of the signs that we are living in the end of the age. There are many more. God gave us these prophecies because He does not want anyone to perish, and He always gives ample warning before pouring out His wrath (2 Peter 3:9).
Are we living in the end times? Yes. and God will deal with sin either by grace or by wrath. John 3:36 says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” Those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their savior will remain under the Lord’s wrath.
The good news is that it’s not too late to choose eternal life. All that is required is acceptance, by faith, of God’s free gift of grace.
