I play squash badly and am really looking forward to playing the arcade game version. Might even get some tips or perhaps actually learn the proper rules!!!
Mmmmh, I feel some Piko 2 vibes here too. But at least we got Thunder Hoop 2 and World Rally 2 and, at least in this case, they'll be enough to justify a purchase for me. Quite honestly, Jaleco Arcade is hard to beat in the comparison: Jaleco was another great monster in the Arcade sector. Time will tell...
I’ll be buying both , I agree it doesn’t look as good as the first cartridge. It would be interesting to know what emulator Blaze are using , I know it’s definitely not Retroarch.
I love Thunder Hoops 2, like World rally 2 and Maniac Square and the biggest surprise for me was the Squash game. Its my favorite sports game on the Evercade. I do not care for Big Karnak and the volleybal game.
I doubt they is engough games left for a Galeco 3 and one of Their games called Bang was a point blank clone and I have no clue how they could emulate a light gun game for this and a few ps1 era tech 3D games like Radical Bikers are only ones left.
They have been experimenting with light gun games but not sure we will actually see them. They need to make their own gun or license an alternative. Highly unlikely.
I think it's the way the game was designed. It was meant for a dual screen 2 player game rather than a sane screen 2 player versus. They'd have to completely redesign the original game.
TH2 looks amazing. And I think my wife is going to love Squash. That looks like a blast!

Getting Piko 2 vibes from this one. First cart was a stonker. This one diminishing returns. I think I'll stick to Jaleco this time.

The best cart to date is the indies cart imo
I think BLAZE is going for “Less is more” quality to this one! I don’t think it quite beats the other NEW released Cart. But only time will tell?! 🤔
I think the issue with this one is that there was not a lot more games from Gaelco. The choice was limited.
Less is less, when it costs the same as other carts.
To be fair,Big Karnak was only the second game Galeco released. Also, did I see a topless woman in the Squash Intro animation?

Why no versus-mode for World Rally 2? On a 65“ OLED it would be possible to play even some parts of the screen were unused then due to the resolution.

Oh.. plus playing this on a large TV is sore on the eyes.. the graphics don't go well on a big TV.
this is kind of arcade carts they should aim for who the fffffffffffffff thought squash would make an arcade game.
