    Welcome to my RUclips channel! In this video tutorial, I will walk you through efficiently calculating the Pitch of an FFC ribbon cable. Understanding the Pitch is crucial when replacing or finding an FFC cable that perfectly fits your desired connector.
    Before purchasing a new FFC cable, it's essential to determine the Pitch from your old FFC cable or FFC connector. The Pitch refers to the center-to-center spacing of the conductors on the cable or the pin holes on the PCB. It comes in various dimensions, ranging from 0.3 mm to 1.5 mm.
    In this video, I will debunk the common misconception regarding Pitch measurement. Many beginners and those unfamiliar with this topic mistakenly consider the distance between two contact endpoints as the Pitch. However, I'll clarify that the Pitch is the spacing between the conductors or pin holes.
    Accurately measuring the Pitch of an FFC flat ribbon cable can be challenging using a regular scale or even a digital vernier scale. But fear not! I will introduce you to a simple formula that allows you to calculate it easily. By understanding this Formula, you can look at flex cables and determine their Pitch effortlessly.
    I'll use the Formula: Cable Width = (Number of conductors in the cable + 1) x (Pitch). The additional "+1" accounts for the cable ends, even without conductor paths.
    To explain this, let's consider an example: Suppose the cable width is 2.5mm, and the number of contacts is 4. By dividing the cable width (2.5mm) by the number of contacts (4 + 1), we obtain a result of 0.5mm. Thus, the Pitch of the cable is determined to be 0.5mm.
    I hope this video tutorial has provided valuable insights into calculating the Pitch of your cables accurately. Understanding the Pitch is crucial for selecting the right cable for your projects. hello. my original ribbon cable is opposite direction. can i use same direction cable for replacement ??

    • @Mr.Login360
      @Mr.Login360  5 месяцев назад

      Certainly! In most cases, using a ribbon cable with the same direction should work fine for replacement. Suppose your original ribbon cable is in the opposite direction. Using a replacement cable with the correct orientation is crucial in that case. Using a cable in the opposite direction may result in improper connectivity or functionality issues. It's recommended to use a cable that matches the orientation of your original cable to ensure compatibility and proper functioning of your device. Make sure to measure the pitch accurately and choose a cable that matches the specifications of your original one. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to ask! Hope you having good day! My question is about Forward/Revers I need an ffc for my Epson printer which goes to the motherboard than to a on/off switch. A bit confused which one I should get...

      @Mr.Login360  9 месяцев назад

      Hello Frank! I appreciate your kind wishes! For your Epson printer, it's great that you're looking for the right FFC. To connect to the motherboard, you'll want an FFC that's designed for data transmission rather than power. You'll need an FFC cable with the right pitch and length for an Epson printer connecting to the motherboard. In the video, I've explained the process to help you choose the right one. Look for one with the necessary pins for data transfer. If you're uncertain, you can share your printer's model, dimensions, FFC PINs or specifications. I'd be happy to help you find a suitable FFC. Feel free to ask any more questions you may have. Have a fantastic day! 😊

    sir what is size of for dell latitude e6440 touch pad to motherboard cable suggestion me please

    • @Mr.Login360
      @Mr.Login360  4 месяца назад +1

      To determine the size of the Dell Latitude e6440 touchpad to motherboard cable, you'll need to measure its length. You can do this by using a ruler or a measuring tape. Once you have the measurement, you can search for a replacement cable with the same length online or at electronics stores. Suppose you're having trouble finding the correct size. You can also consult the Dell support website or contact their customer service for assistance.🥰👍

    Would advise what the direction is for inserting the cable. Which side is the top and bottom side.

    • @Mr.Login360
      @Mr.Login360  9 месяцев назад +1

      Excellent question! FFC cables generally come with a designated top and bottom side. Look for markings or a colored stripe on the top side; this is a crucial indicator. When inserting the cable, ensure the marked or colored side faces upward for the correct alignment. If your cable lacks markings, you might notice that the contacts on one side look different or have a slight lip - that's usually the top side. I hope this helps! If you have additional questions, feel free to reach out. For more details, you can also check out my video: ruclips.net/video/trpJHsFskKE/видео.html 🥰

    Sir 50 pin ffc cable ka pitch ka size jara bataw vai.calculation kor nahi pa raha hu.

    • @Mr.Login360
      @Mr.Login360  Год назад +1

      Hello! The pitch size of a 50-pin FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) can be calculated by measuring the distance between each consecutive pin. To do this accurately, use a ruler or calipers and measure the distance from the center of one pin to the center of the next pin. Then, divide this measurement by the number of pins (in this case, 50).
      For example, if the distance between pins is 2 millimeters, you would calculate the pitch size as:
      Pitch Size = Distance Between Pins / Number of Pins
      Pitch Size = 2 mm / 50
      Pitch Size = 0.04 mm per pin
      So, in this example, the pitch size of the 50-pin FFC would be 0.04 millimeters per pin. I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask!🥰

      @@buddhadevbanerjee7068 Hello! It's great to hear from you, and I'm glad to help. I understand that you have a Panasonic 43-inch TV, model TH43ES480DX from 2017, and you need to replace the T-Con board's FFC cable, which has 50 pins. To accurately measure the pitch size of the FFC cable, you can follow these steps:
      1. **Measure the Total Width**: Lay the cable flat and measure the total width of the cable in millimeters.
      2. **Count the Pins**: As you mentioned, it has 50 pins.
      3. **Calculate Pitch Size**: To find the pitch size, simply divide the total width by the number of pins. For example, if the total width is 10 millimeters:
      Pitch Size = Total Width / Number of Pins
      Pitch Size = 10 mm / 50
      Pitch Size = 0.2 mm per pin
      So, in this example, the pitch size would be 0.2 millimeters per pin.
      However, please note that it's crucial to measure your specific cable as cable dimensions can vary. Once you have this information, you can search for a replacement online, keeping in mind the pitch size and pin count.
      If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Best of luck with your TV repair!🥰👍
