This is the most informative dorm vlog I've ever watched. Normally, other vloggers just show their room and clean stuffs. Now I know the reality in living in a dorm and not just the fun stuffs. I'm moving into one next school year, a little bit excited and nervous lol.
the fact that your dorm floor only has two showers is what’s concerning to me LOL why would they think that’s a good idea when so many people live on the floor...
My freshman year, I lived on an all girls floor but we had 2 bathrooms and each had 3 showers in it. Everyone has different schedules and things so the showers were always free. But, my floor only had one washer and dryer and that was a struggle haha.
Shante Carter my freshman year dorm was the same way with the laundry room! having to sit in there for hours at a time to secure a spot in line to use them was so frustrating hahaha glad that’s over and i have my own now!
Can totally relate to the struggle of having to go back and forth in the kitchen to wash dishes. Our kitchen was so gross I hated having to go there. Thank god I had my own bathroom and shower. I think I could live with a shared shower but NOT a shared toilet

The things I have seen in dorm room showers will always haunt me. The amount of hair clumps and used tampons... The times I've completely fallen down in my shower shoes in the 2x2 foot stall... I never take my real shower for granted after a year in the dorms.
I’m curious, why don’t you use the shower at your back house? It’s probably easier to drive to the house if u want to shower and have ur privacy there 😅

Harry Potter is playing every Saturday at the Roadhouse Cinema on Grant and Swan. I saw the first one yesterday. They will be doing every Saturday for 10 weeks. They serve yiu food at your seat. Its great. The hummus plate is the best. Love, Fellow Tucson resident and Potterhead
I feel like you'd be a lot happier in the back house but you're convincing yourself you like the dorm because it seems fun & has been popularized by movies and tv shows. I'm so glad I never lived in a dorm and wasted money on it. Shared houses/apartments are FAR superior!
I knew I was living in the dorm ever since deciding to go to U of A and my roommate did as well. The back house came together once dorm paperwork and everything was completed and I as well as my parents felt it was good for me to live in the dorm and have Erin be at her house with her roommates without me living there off campus. I am grateful to be on campus as I know when classes are in person again I will want to be able to walk to class and it was important to my fam to have me living on campus. I use the back house as a way to not pay for a storage unit from my LA apartment, I am able to take calls, edit, film and work from there when my roommate has schoolwork to do, and to workout in a safe way where my sister also goes to workout. I am very grateful to have both and it is what works for me. :)

Don’t know if you’ll see this but I went to UA and I used to work for The Scented Leaf on University! Next time you go, try the matcha there...it’ll change the game. Order this: large iced matcha with your preferred milk and a medium amount of honey or brown sugar. Starbucks cannot compete with scented leafs matcha game! You can also mix coffee with the matcha. I know it sounds weird but I used to do it all the time with almond milk. Bomb.

Just a thought! Maybe make signs or ask your RA to make them for each shower that say occupied or not! That way people can look at the door before going in and disturbing someone in there!

I just got my dorm assignment today and I got into the path hall which is the newest and I’m in a suite with four single rooms. I just think it’s weird that most colleges have like just a dorm where it’s like one bedroom with two beds. Like my college is like that but it’s a suite, so there is a bathroom in every suite, a living area, two rooms with two beds( except for the single suite one I got into), there’s a microwave, depending on the dorm a whole or mini fridge. I’m so glad I picked this college because tuition is cheap, I don’t have to share a bathroom with anyone except my roommates, and there’s a living area. So that’s nice
