Elton John - Nikita - Live in Ghent 1998

This upload is dedicated to GregsynthWizard, since it's his birthday today (and he is fond of performances from this era). This version of Nikita is the first performance of the song since June 1989, and it shows. The band is very sloppy (aside from Jack Bruno's usual playing, Bob Birch is unsure of his parts in spots, and Guy Babylon messes up the synth solo in the bridge for example). As for Elton, he misses the first G2 (on "in the snow") and hits a D3 instead (!?). He also flubs words, makes up random vocal melodies, among other oddities.
I love Elton's music and respect him greatly, but I personally think this is the worst band version of the song.

Bad performance, but love it anyway! It's a shame Elton lost lots of his voice during 1998... I keep wondering why?!
