Quail Mom - An alternate title could be “A Girl and her Power Tools!” You amaze me how you just whip out this stuff. “Oh yeah, this week I ....”. So many Quail babies and so cute. I also appreciate it when you let us know which pics are home grown vs. commercial. For example, seeing how big your tilapia got vs. from a commercial fish farm. Seeing that your school garden didn’t looks like a magazine and that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. Inspiring!
Really. 1year ago I start this business quail farming just 1000 chicks . I’m Pakistani citizens but currently I live in Saudi Arabia. I’m very inspired your this mathed feders and drinkers thanks for share ideas Ma’m if I make pipe length more 10 ft possible .
Here I was trying to watch videos on fluid mechanics to make something like your watering thing. I gave up on trying to do math for all that crap and then found this video. What a great functional design. Not only do you not use an obscene number of tools which would cost more than just buying something from the store, but you're also using the few tools that I already have so it's even better!
The design of the drinker and drinker has practically the same logic as the hopper. BUT I should have at least made a reduction so the 1/2-inch tube had to fit well and avoid waste when turning. The rest is OK! ... I liked the idea of making a pvc half moon to prevent the bird from spilling the liquid!
How long were the pipes in the waters? What keeps the water from overflowing out the drinking holes? It seems as if the water levels would try to equalize causing the water level to rise over the lip of the holes?
LearnGrowLiveWell yes i was wanted something that would help with the smell because after you hit 50 or more baby quail that smell of poop get intense in a closed area even if you use horse stall freshener
LearnGrowLiveWell yes not at the moment its too cold for them to lay however i just got a cage where i can have a few breeders in my shop during the winter so i can keep the cycle of quail going ive just been breeding enough in fall to put in the freezer.
This is better than anything I've seen, and so simple.
Nice mam

The City Tour I think it is possible, but I feared the quail may step in the water and make the water dirty.
