In case my joke wasn't obvious, this is me saying "Even though a pizza wish DOES sound flawless, the paw would find a way to screw you over." Hypothetically speaking, what if you wished for a pizza and it gives you a pizza but not with the toppings you wanted? Or if you wish for a pizza and it was given to you with all of the toppings exactly how you imagined, but the pizza sauce tasted funny? Or worse, you get a pizza and it's exactly the pizza you wanted, but the pizza delivery boy was someone you once knew who hated you so much that he poisoned it? Either way, you're screwed.
The third and final wish was that the returning son would be a hungry ghost who didn't know that he was dead. He had unfinished business to take care of with his parents before he crossed over to the land of the spirits. His parents didn't recognize him.
"The Monkey's Paw: the ultimate ‘be careful what you wish for’ warning! If only they’d just asked for pizza instead!"😂
The son might have gotten run over by the pizza delivery truck instead.
"The turkey's a little dry- THE TURKEY'S A LITTLE DRY!?!? OH CURSE THIS FOUL THING!!!"

Great acting by the parents, but this film doesn't do justice to W. W. Jacob's story.
Sorry you feel that way!
