For Fun's Sake Expedition of the Inside Passage, Episode 04.
An important family wedding is scheduled for exactly halfway through our expedition. This leads to a race against the clock, as we push to get Nuka to the wedding on time!
We enter the territory of the Kitasoo Xai'xais nation and meet with Chief Doug Neasloss in Klemtu. He offers a warm welcome with a tour of the Big House and the opportunity to spend the night there.
Doug's generosity extends even further as he takes us to see our first grizzly bears of the expedition!
The very next day we are awestruck by the sight of humpback whales bubble-net feeding right in front of our campsite. Can mornings get any better?
We kayak through the notorious Grenville Channel, clocking our biggest day of the trip, before arriving in Prince Rupert.
