Great lesson! I’ve always been really interested in Bob and Jerry’s unique take on soloing and playing rhythm. I even did a Grateful Dead medley on my channel, and I can confirm that it is a lot more difficult to emulate these guys than it actually looks; you’ve nailed it though!! BGG 🎸🎸
Very good lesson. Lots of videos teach the same stuff, but the way you immediately and consistently linked this triad stuff to specific examples and uses in a very clear way is very helpful.
Thanks, glad to hear it was helpful because I realized there wasn't anything I haven't made in past videos. But was hoping it was still valuable to see more examples of using triads and sus chords.
I know neither is really your thing (which ironically I really dig), but if you felt inspired to do so it'd be cool to see a short video on this guitar...or a YT "short"--assuming you love the instrument anyways. That said, I do appreciate that you don't churn out gear/signal chain content, and stick to instruction & theory. Keep rocking man ✊.

JEFF WILLIAMS, What are the common Grateful Dead VAMPS Chord progressions? I to IV/IV to IV? or bVII to IV/IV to IV?
