Wind dies down as warm and sunny weather returns

A little wind and a 10 degree drop in temperatures started the work week, but that's about as bad as it gets, for now. Following the dry frontal boundary that moved through Monday, things will calm back down through the middle of the week allowing the heat and sunshine to return.
We will warm each day through Thursday, first to the mid 70s, then upper 70s, and finally near 80 again by Thursday afternoon before our next big change arrives. Wind picking up late Thursday ushers in a major shift in the weather pattern taking us into a cooler weekend ahead.
