As a filmmaker and his girlfriend return home from his movie premiere, smoldering tensions and painful revelations push them toward a romantic reckoning. - Развлечения
Zendaya really can pull off any role, teenager, drug addict and much more. She is so talented and I can't wait to see what she has to offer in her absolutely amazing future
She’s only played 2 kinds of characters so far lol
@@sams517 that’s what I was thinking hahah they’re the only characters she’s played 😂
I mean these are the only characters she’s played tbh
All of the 3 character she played are quite similar
She isn’t a good actress. This was textbook acting 101 lol
Zendaya WAS this movie. She was simply *exquisite* in this. Hope she gets the accolades for it, it’s 1000% deserved
And John David but I completely agree with your statement
😂😂😂😂 one of the worst acting I have ever seen. He was also bad but she was just awful.
She can't act but she is so pretty though.
She just played another version of rue und rue ist the drug Addict version of MJ …..
@@anneneville6255 literally
What does that even mean was this Movie
She legit had me scared in this scene !! But when she dropped the act, I was like “ Woah ! “ 😳🤭
She legit broke my head, I thought she was for real was looking for the pills, she just puts the knife down and walks off, I felt like an idiot, it makes sense, she keeps saying how she could’ve did a better job, so she showed him what she could do, absolutely I think her best scene ever so far, for me, I was scared for Malcom, the boy was just going off the whole time and I’m like she’s gonna cut u Man U better calm down, but she wasn’t even being serious 😂😂 absolutely amazing scene, cool movie, great performance from them both 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Amazing acting! Haven’t seen this movie, going to change that tonight. How can one person be so talented, beautiful and chill all at once?
I can't believe they cut John's line "why didn't you do that at the audition?!". devastating
Yo I thought u were me 😭
Right?? An injustice lmao
They didn't

This movie was watchable only because of the great visuals and the strong performances from Zendaya and John David.
It took me 5 seconds to get this 😀😀😀😀😀
exactly
ok movie reviewers good shit now stfu
but it's still all about a couple fighting
*and the songs
i almost see this film as an extension of Rue from Euphoria, and how as she grows older releases her surface addictions and but not her deep insecurities and fear of not being worthy, and though malcom is narcissistic he gives her the support system to really become at a surface level healthy and well. this i think is a really realistic take on someone who adapts past their need for substances but still retains toxic behaviors, watching this was like seeing aspects of myself on screen, loved it so much
Also both this and euphoria have the same director
What if this is euphoria but rue is older 🤯🤯🤯
Thisssssssssssss
@YouStink
??? You try so hard to be different.
also guys if you'd notice,.S02 E06 during the initial scenes,Rue is wearing a t-shirt which reads "MALCOM".
Definitely one of the best acted scenes of her career so far (tied for the door scene in euphoria imo)
What door

This scene has sustained how incredible of an actress Zendaya is.
really?
@@8i23h2bn It's her role to play any part she's given because she's an actress..they be saying anything for likes
@@bratscom3060 That's just the point. Some actors and actresses CAN'T land EVERY LINE they are given. This person believes Zendaya can (I personally don't know cause I've never seen the woman act before, but that's what they believe).
I disagree. I feel like her acting always comes out as trying too hard. I don’t see the hype behind her acting
The most overrated actress ever
Ok, so obviously Zendaya was acting this entire time. But you’re telling me all of that was Marie acting as well? Shook.
@YouStink I don’t use either much but this was pretty entertaining. I don’t see why you have to say such a remark but people are free to be entertained by things that you may not find entertaining, just saying.
@@chubbs4373I think you completely misunderstood the comment.
He was literally saying it was great.
Lol
This scene is also for those who questioned Zendayas acting in this movie.
@have a good one WTH are you TA? It’s not.
@have a good one like for real. I like her but the acting here is yikes
@have a good one like u can do any better
The acting here is yikes what are u talking about lol
The twilight Zone of it all.
I can't watch this scene without thinking this is what Rue Bennett would be in her 20s if she doesn't take rehab srsly and Jules leaves her 😢. But Zendaya slays in anything she does.
This!
I forgot she's a teen in that series lol hahaha
Ngl I don't think Rue will make it to her 20s if she doesn't get sober soon. She's already had so many close calls it's a miracle she's still alive.
@@isabell8580actually many addicts (especially opio, as there is easy way - narcan) has soo many close calls that it's amlost unbelivable thay are still alive. But somehow that's how it works. Standard addicts lives...
That woman is gifted, she's only scratched the surface of her career. There is so much to look forward to with Zendaya, she's a phenomenal actress.
She’s such a good actress 💯 this girl needs an Oscar , Emmy and everything else man 💯💯 DOUBLED 💯💯💯

This whole scene will be in my heart forever. Like I haven't seen almost perfect art like this one. The writing, directing and top of all acting of zendaya. 💝
Zendaya is such a brilliant actor.
zendaya proves that she is one of the best actresses of our generation!!

You can literally see the switch flip from when she was acting it out to when she turned it off. It's like night and day.
Art imitates life and life imitates art. Great acting and a brave choice for any actors who chose these roles. The time is fast approaching that we will get rid of the stigma of mental health and addiction.
Amen!!!! Love this comment
@YouStink removing the stigma around mental health and addiction does not mean we accept people abusing drugs it means we are more supportive for those in recovery and those who are struggling . Opiates change the chemistry of the brain and drug addicts shouldn't be persecuted or judged so harshly because they are human beings too.
But no by all means let's become less empathetic and make sure everyone struggling knows they should be ashamed so they don't bother getting help. YouStink, sir you suck.
@YouStink at this point I think you're just a troll there's nothing cool about heroin you asshole. I just dont think addicts should be treated like monsters . I'm not arguing with you , you're not worth my time . I hope to God when you make mistakes people aren't as terrible to you as you clearly seem to be about other people.
This scene had me on my sit and then she's acting and I am screaming like what an amazing actor!!
How does someone act like they're acting.. and still pull it off?! 😩❤️
It's so interesting when the cameras not on him and he talks,he sounds just like his dad.
I’ve thought the same exact thing lol
No fancy cut, no backsound music, only great acting
No sure if you meant to say background... Or what but yeah
This movie had some of the best dialogue for showing appreciation for your woman. Zendaya & John David kills their roles. The setting is so simple but the dialogue throughout the movie is so real and authentic.
Man MJ really lost it without her memories of Peter Parker
1:54-1:56 is just absolutely insane
the way that Zendaya be playin these drug addicts im starting to think she has been through it !!🤣🤣
If this ain't me
That's not even how a drug addict acts though lmao. When's the last time you got a routine check up at your primary care physician or dentist? See how they act all professional with their perfect lives making over 200k a year? That's how the average Heroin addict acts. There are 3 types of addicts. 80% are regular working people. 15% are 6-figure earning individuals (top 5% are millionaires/billionaires). 5% are unemployed. From that 5% another 1% is homeless. And another 1% from that 1% are liars/thieves/shitty people. I wanna see a dam show/movie where they show the top 1% and not bottom 1%. House MD was more bearable to watch. This is absurd.
I knew a drug addict. Great girl. Everytime she was sober she was homeless and everytime she did Heroin was a millionaire. Always bug me with, "What's wrong with me." Told her, "Your problem is sobriety. Stop being an idiot." Was never homeless again. My roommate. Ironically, my job is to make sure SHE DOES Heroin and does not go more than a week without it.
@@andressoto739 show me the study that proves this.
@@kennawhitty5884 Lol, read my reply slowly and carefully again. That is not what I said or implied. There are obviously many "functioning" sober people. But this idea of the vast majority of drug addicts being "dysfunctional" is just plain ludacris. You can search Dr. Carl Hart and follow his studies. He's a professor with a PhD in neuroscience that specializes in addiction and pharmacology. He also does Heroin on the daily basis. That's closer to the norm and the average "user" You can argue that he is an "outlier " and you'd be extremely wrong too. I think part of the problem is distinguishing between "addict" and "responsible user." Some people have a glass a wine with their dinner others snort a line of heroin with their dinner. The difference there is basically none with the glass of wine actually being the more physiologicaly damaging substance scientifically. I don't have the "statistics " in my head but somewhere between 1 and 2 out of 100 people do Heroin. Same goes for crack and meth. Somewhere between 80% to 90% of people who consume "hard substances " (heroin, meth, crack etc) do not develop a dependency issue. Majority do it like once a week/month. But even those doing it on a daily basis are okay too. So going by these numbers... Majority of "successful people " are sober. They are successful not because they are sober though lol. It's just that the number of users are pretty low 1 to 2 out of 100. When you do an in depth research on those 1 to 2 out 100 people you find pretty boring findings. Just regular working people. That said, you are A LOT more likely to find a Heroin/crack/meth user who's a millionaire/billionaire because of their drug use than you are finding a homeless individual because of their use. Actually, this is questionable. Many homeless people will blame shit on drug use where successful people will rarely mention their use due to stigma and "ego." They don't want to advertise nor conclude that the only reason they found success is because of a certain medication/drug. All in all, Majority of successful people are in fact sober. Majority of "drug addicts " are in fact successful too. There are more successful sober people than not sober people because most don't do hard drugs in the 1st place. Proportionally? Idk. I'll have to read more studies. 90% of homeless drug users are straight up lying to themselves and others saying that the drugs were the problem. No. You are unemployed not because of your drug use but because you were a shitty worker that couldn't cope with the divorce and death of your child. Accept responsibility and don't go around blaming shit. Rehab is by far one of the most unsuccessful programs out there with relapses near 90% Why? Because most of those people have deep issues unrelated to drugs in the grand scheme of things. Discontinuing drugs will not bring your dead child back. It will not make you forget that time you were beaten and raped. Studies definitively prove one thing though: Drug use increases under shitty circumstances and decreases under ideal/happier circumstances. It never goes to zero completely for the average/successful happy person but pretty close. Indicating that moderation is key and that this is a very complex phenomenon.
He sounds so much like his father Denzel, I thought that was him at first
Wait, WHAT? I just now realized that's Denzel's son. Insane.

The beginning stages of her soon-to-be wide acting range is obvious here, however, the range wasn't dark enough in her eyes to be believable. It was interesting to watch, though. She's definitely branching out emotionally and I love that! #harshcritic
