Looks like Kevin is the verge of finally getting a chance to Blow Up. I'm loving this song.
I both hope for that, and dread it at the same time...whenever an artist "blows up", they run the risk of losing control of the mood and vibe that made them loved in the beginning. Right now, his music is honestly perfect...not overly sexual...the right touch, powerful voice, good lyrics and message --- I just don't want him to be pimped out so bigwigs can make money off of him with more of the same junk. If anything, Kevin needs to call the shots and if people promote him to go big, they should promote him in the right light. Most importantly, if he does get huge, I hope he stays humble and sticks to bringing fine "old-school" to the current and new generations...but because he deserves it, I really do hope he gets big; just in the right way.

Kevin Ross has taken us back to when R&B/soul was done with great lyrics, tight harmonies and not the hedonistic, auto-tuned Euro beat stuff that has been in the charts recently

Man, this song came out my senior year in 2017. That was a very rough year for me but by the grace of God I got through it. I just remember hearing this on 98.5 WYLD with the World Famous AD Berry and they used to play it all the time and I remember driving in my very first car which was a 2001 Infiniti I 35 jamming this all the time especially that last semester of school.
Hope they give this brother some more recognition.

I know I'm late but I heard this song couple of years back and have been listening to it since. I'm only 17 and when I heard this song when I was 15 but at my age I prefer R&B over the music we have today. I'm so glad you brought back the meaning of actually expressing love to a significant other without degrading the significant other. A lot of the music I here today is really degrading in a lot of areas. I find my self just turning to the R&B station and I here your song and that let's me know that there are still some soulful, passionate, and angelic singers like you. Right now Kevin Ross and H.E.R a.k.a (Having everything revealed) are my favorite artist because they are relevant on so many levels. So Kevin you have my support.
