Oh man do I love this game.... I played it so much back then!! I just played Fighting Ex Layer today and while I like it, I still think this one hits the spot better than FEXL.
And I thought *Mokap* in the 3-D Mortal Kombat Era games was the weirdest character in all of Fighting Games, But this one, my Goodness this definitely takes the Cake.
@@meganinten0078 I'm kinda use to Charge Characters in most 2-D Style Fighting Games, because a Charge Character can be much more Stronger than a regular Shoto Character. I can pull off Chun Li and Blanka just fine, but Guile for me is pretty tricky at Times (I could barely do a "Flash Explosion" Ultra Move in Street Fighter 4), but at least his Input Commands aren't as Bad the Infamous Pretzel 🥨 Input.

(kinda ironic that he's Interacting with Rugal's Kids who stole his Kaiser Wave move 😂). Edit: Also *"Mai Shiranui missing a Tournament is like Santa Claus missing Christmas"* was hilarious and so true. 😂
@@joseurbina3835 The author has interesting ideas but I have to admit he knows a lot of the SNK characters (not only KOF) Although it's clear he ships Mature and Vice, in the canon they are NOT lesbians (except in that awful KOF live action movie) I like how Kula is trying to be friends with Hotaru in that fic. And of course many references to previous games.
The standing MK to Lightning Kick infinite can be done by Chun-Li as well, but I think she can also do hers off crouching MK and LK as well along with landing a Hienshu. Both are considered top tier, but I’d say Cycloid Gamma is a little bit worse than Chun-Li as he’s charge commanded and Chun-Li and Blair (both top tier as well) are good at cross up pressure on knock down and stealing your charge away, and have invincibility frames to go through a lot of your stuff if you mess up or attempt something stupid, usually losing 33-50% of your life. Zangief (the other top tier character) may not be good at taking your charge away, but any of Cycloid Gamma’s moves are snuffed out by Super Stomping and any whiff can get punished by it or an SPD.
Because the characters belong to ARIKA, not Capcom. Also, Capcom is at least adding Fighting EX Layer costumes in Street Fighter V as part of a collaboration between them and ARIKA.

Actually, Gamma and Beta were in Street Fighter EX Plus for Arcades as hidden characters before EX Plus Alpha was a thing. Also, Isn't that weird how in its artworks Gamma is orange but his default colour in game is green?
The characters have endings with text but only in the Japanese version. For the international versions of EX1 and EX2 they just put the generic "Congratulations! See you in our next game!"
We all have been playing SF for so long, we can tell when something has a soul and play with style versus something that doesn't. This clearly falls in the latter... soulless. Well, I guess that's why it's truly a TAS.

How funny in the 90s there were so many move steals by various characters - Rogue, Cycloids, Shang Tsung, etc.
