You made this so much more fun with 5 products compared to the recent TikTok where P. Louise sent their entire inventory to a certain creator. THAT one was just boring & annoying to watch. It would've been so much more fun to see YOU do that unboxing in long form content on your channel.. versus making a boring video organizing it in drawers in a makeup room

Edit: I'd written that the last palette in the advent calendar has a drawer with more eyeshadows that Alexandria had missed, but as Hayley Mills let me know below, that's not true because they made a different version of the palette just for the calendar without the drawer. Apologies for the misinfo :(
Plouise is a really good box. But long term be ready to receive 3 of the same item in different colours. Great if it’s eye palettes but no so much when it’s 3 blushes.
I have heard this box is aimed at people who work with makeup and can build up a collection.
But love your videos really enjoy watching you love the fun vibe u bring with you.
Keep up the good works regardless of how bad the boxes become 😂❤
Hey, so the budget boxes are designed for aspiring make up artists to help build a kit without breaking the bank. That’s why you get similar items but different tones. Absolutely love this box though 😊

I popped over to their website and put these five items in a cart, and the total is $94. That's great value for a $37 box!
$37 box, but you have to factor in $13 shipping. So cost is $50. And the palettes are on sale, so the $94 value is more like $79. That's not terrible, but definitely less compelling.

(Consider: you'd be better off placing one bulk order for the year than paying monthly shipping costs). And shipping is cheaper in Europe., but most of Alex's viewer base is likely in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
@@rosiewilliams5303 Except you're buying a monthly subscription box. After 6 months, you've paid $78 in shipping. Yet if you buy the equivalent amount of makeup at once, the shipping cost is far less.

Hey Alex, please don't worry about how this eyeliner goes with the rest of the eye look, because the moment I leaned in to my screen to take a better look I said "oh it's BEAUTIFUL" out loud! it just looks a bit spiced up, like how an editorial make-up artist imagines "everyday neutral" XD

I’ve been getting this kit since near when it started…and it just gets better. Not only is it MOSTLY makeup (she does have new skin care so that has come a couple times) but it’s also like 99% NEW unreleased makeup - like things that don’t become available until after budget boxes are released which is really cool, and you are way less likely to get duplicates of things you own… in Ireland the shipping is 6 euros and then I think I pay 4-5 for customs.

It’s a pro box hence why you get various shades of same pallets as it’s designed to build collections as make up artist originally
I discovered PLouise after watching your advent calendar video. Since then I've placed a few orders and love the value they offer in their mystery boxes. I've just ordered February's box to start the subscription. The delivery here in the UK is ridiculously affordable in comparison to any website I've ever ordered from. It's just £1! So about $1.20. Obviously the international shipping is going to be more, but the value you get easily outweighs the box price and the international delivery. Keep doing your videos, I just love hearing you say dag nabbit 🤣 too cute ❤️ 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Box Value: The lip liner is $15. The double ended liner is $14. The gloss is $15. The eyeshadow bundle is $49 (currently discounted to $35 on their website). Total: $93 ($79 with the palettes on sale).
Why would you buy both palettes? Also, would you actually buy all products?
I don't even wear make up but this box is so cute, I would order it just for the sake of having 1 fancy looking set of matching products on my dresser. 💜

My opinion on the palettes: I think one being cooler toned and one warmer but both being extremely similar was so that most people can use one or the other as their “perfect neutral” eye palette
Yeah I think this is definitely it! Someone else mentioned that the budget boxes are designed specifically with makeup artists trying to build up a kit of products to use on all their clients in mind. So having the "perfect neutral" for anyone who they might book.
I'd love to see a ColourPop mystery box unboxing. They have one available now, the last I checked. I can't afford it at the time, so I want to live vicariously through someone else. 😁😁😁

I've personally been loving colored eyeliners a lot lately, mainly because I don't really use eyeshadow anymore so it's a quick way to just add some color to your eyes. That being said I absolutely love those eyeliners you received and they would probably look really pretty with minimal or no eyeshadow at all.
good to know what's coming! I also decided to try out the budget box. If I remember correctly from the website, the two eyedentify palettes are cool toned and warm toned. (so a warm toned neutral set and a cool toned neutral set) I'm still kind of stoked to see these in person when mine shows up.

Also as someone that's from the UK, it is fairly common for girls to wear that kind of "concealer lip" as an every day lip combo. I'm not a fan personally but wearing a darker lip liner and using a lighter lip in the middle is super common. Maybe that's why there's always light lippies in there.
