OK here's my assessment, I love eyescream beauty box and it was phenomenal, but I also have not tried Plouise, I love the packaging and the amount of makeup items that you get, so ❤️ it's a tie 😂😂
Love those Motley Chromes. So pretty. The tingle/numbness reminds me of when I get a migraine during a Sinus infection, and you mentioned smelling issues, so you may wish to goto the doctor to get that looked at.
Speaking as a long time sinus issue sufferer here, losing feeling in your cheek can mean pressure or it can mean infection. I would go see an ENT sooner rather than later!
Yes! I get so many bacterial sinus & ear infections, I can say that there are a number of symptoms that you need to see an ENT for. Often, a prescription for antibiotics is only for a few days. Ten to14 days is better.

I use to get sinus infections all the time and live off of Tylenol sinus daily. I finally had sinus surgery back in 2000 where my ENT cleaned out my sinuses in my forehead (which he said was like cement) and I never had another sinus infection or allergies again. It was a miracle. It was the best thing that I could have done.
As someone that is big into formulations & make makeup myself, talc is pretty damn harmless in makeup. It’s a way to make a blendable product more inexpensively instead of using more silica spheres so it’s a give or take which you would rather have more of personally. Bronzer or contour being a good example. What you don’t want to do is have it in your nether regions. That’s the truth. Talc is one of many natural ingredients that has the potential to have contaminants. That said, testing is important & because of the amount of legal issues those who didn’t do testing (as well as gave medicinal bodily uses to keep dry even when they had warning…)have landed themselves in, it’s tested pretty regularly now. I hope that helps people & gives some peace of mind ❤️
This is a very reasonable and informed response! The company being sued over talc issues right now is because of contaminants that were in their talc- not the talc itself

The reason P Louise send two similar palettes is for makeup artists kits. They send one cool tone and one warm tone to work for all undertones. Or one palette with both color schemes. It’s kinda their thing. ❤❤
Lighting tips I have found/figured out. Put a white cloth over or in front of the light to defuse the direct light, but keep the brightness. thin white sheets are perfect for this, like a twin flat sheet. If the light is too hot to put a cloth over, turn the light away from your face, but towards a white colored wall. It will bounce the light back at your recording space, but not have the light blaring directly at your eyes.
Two things: Please start wearing color again, because it really does look good on you. I love those multi?chromes, especially with the liner. Second, and more importantly, as a lifetime migraine sufferer (migraineur), the tingly/numb thing with your cheek _might_ be a migraine, but it's definitely worth mentioning to your doctors. Take care ✌️☮️💜
Love the eyeshadow look with those loose pigments. I was getting Harley Quinn vibes, makes me think you could totally do a whole Harley Quinn look for Halloween with the way you did them in this video.
I think the cream products are popular now because the "no makeup makeup" thing is so trendy! Like people will skip foundation and stuff like that on daily makeup, so cream products go better on clesn skin than powder.
I'm currently dealing with an abscess above one of my teeth (without any decay to the tooth and closer to my sinuses than my tooth) and the way you described your cheek feeling is how my tooth/gums/mouth/nose/lip/abscess feel, so I would definitely go get that checked out sooner rather than later!
Spearmint tea is INCREDIBLE iced and makes such a refreshing tea in the summer. I also find i dont need to add sweeteners to it and im not big in bitter tea/coffees without some sugar/cream. If you want to dip your toe into teas i think that would work for you
Is spearmint tea nicer than peppermint? I've tried peppermint but it tasted more 'earthy' than minty. My 2 favourite teas are Lemon with Ginger and Cranberry w Pomegranate. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 😊

that Earth Harbor mask is my favorite product from the brand. It is so nice. just remember to paint it on the skin with a brush. It has made my skin fantastic.

I’m very tempted to cancel Ipsy and try the ice cream beauty box! I’ll give Ipsy one or two months but that’s it! I also get the p Louise box and this one was one of my favorites!
I know you don't need it now, but just an FYI- you can fix shattered shadows by just adding rubbing alcohol and mixing with a toothpick (or one of those little beauty spatulas if you have one) to make a paste, pat it flat and let it dry. It'll be almost good as new, it'll just not be nice and smooth like it was, it'll be a little bumpy on the surface. It'll work though! PS- those shadows looked amazing! You can really rock a dramatic eye look!!
I really wanted those chrome eyeshadows (especially the bronze)! Chantiko doesn’t even sell the red/bronze one in store :( only the purple one. They’re $12 each. They look gorgeous!!
The two multichrome shadows were the standouts for sure! My only complaint with the P.Louise box is that pretty much every palette I've seen from them are neutrals with maybe a pop of red. It gets a bit boring after a while. The Eyescream Beauty box seems nice, but other than the two gorgeous shadows, I'm not super impressed by the other items.
If you aren't huge on tea but like coffee give chai a try. My go to is the "stash" brand just because it's easily obtainable. I add a little hazelnut coffeemate (liquid) to mine.
Talc can contain asbestos which causes cancer if it is inhaled. I’ve heard talc is more of an issue with baby powder/ setting powders. I imagine using it once in a while isn’t too bad, and most talc used now is refined and doesn’t have asbestos. It’s likely not as much of a concern now, but it’s up to you to decide if you want to use it.
Go search for P.Louise. Watch the Queen Conquer Palette!!! It's one of my favorite pallets from them. I paid $145 for it but the freaking colors are vibrant and absolutely stunning!
I also get that with the left side of my face I noticed a while back when I couldn’t feel my makeup brush on my skin, I have no idea what the reason was but it has eventually come back. X

Talc is only an issue because where you find talc, you will also find asbestos. When it is not properly mined, trace amounts of asbestos can be found; this mainly happens with cheap talc, hence the Claire's asbestos fiasco a couple of years ago. More expensive talc is generally safe.
I've been on the fence about both boxes. I'm going to order them, just canceled all my ipsy-charm boxes. Also try plum deluxe tea, they are a smaller brand of hand made tea, they have flavors Even my tea hating hubby will drink. They have lots of dessert flavors
You don't like tea? Try a black tea blend (darjeeling preferably) brewed strong with a lot of milk and a couple spoons of sugar :D Also, I have light sensitivity too but for me that means no natural light, and big room lights always. If I have lamps and no room lights I get so sleepy and can't cope!
I drink the keurig twinning teas(I do english breakfast or earl grey but they also have irish breakfast, green tea and chai) with some french vanilla creamer poured in. Very tasty, highly recommend.
They also have caffeine free options too :) I believe there is also sleepytime in keurig form by Celestial Seasonings. I've never put creamer in that before so can't really speak to that. I find the keurig options much better bc I'm terrible at the whole tea bag thing and I don't have the patience for it. Also if you're a sweet tea kind of gal lipton also makes sweet tea keurig that is absolutely delightful. Great cold with some ice cubes or hot. I'd recommend buying from Staples. It's cheaper and comes in 24ct packs rather then the 12ct they sell at the grocery stores.
The trigeminal nerve goes in three directions and one is through your cheek. My cheek goes numb any time I have inflammation. I’d get it checked out to keep it from becoming a painful issue.
A couple months ago I had that feeling in my face by my sinuses . I went to my doctor. I had a deep sinus and ear infection. I was put on heavy antibiotics. And was told to do steam baths to breathe in the steam to unclog my sinuses.
Fun unboxing! I have to say, I’ve tried that Glow Juice and it’s kind of goopy and gross. I’m tired of seeing it (and Earth Harbor in general) everywhere; it was even in the Ipsy Icon box. But you’ve enticed me to try P Louise now! And those eyeshadows from the Eye Scream box were gorgeous!

I don't have to pay shipping for my eye scream box. I like the multichromes, but you lose product trying to open them. I was also kinda sad that both of the ones they sent were both green to golds. I'd love to have gotten the red pigment you got. I've been searching for one that shift.💙🌻
So from what I understand, talc itself isn’t bad. It's just that it occurs naturally alongside asbestos. And can easily be contaminated with the extremely dangerous asbestos if not handled safely. (Cheaply sourced talc is more likely to be subect to contamination). So mmm it's a tricky one. x
I love both of these boxes, they're my favorite of all you get. The eyeshadows are just good god, so gorgeous on you. Both shades flatter you, you look amazing!
It sounds like sinus issues, if you don't want to go to the dr right now maybe try flonase? It worked great when my sinuses were so bad it caused pressure on my ears and made me lose all my balance for a bit. Also the eyescream box was my fav, I want that colorshift eyeshadow so bad now.
Talc itself is not dangerous. The issue is that talc is always found with asbestos. High quality talc makes a greater effort to remove the asbestos, lower grade talc is less refined.
You are one of my favorite youtubers and always brighten my day. I live vicariously through you and your unboxings. I used to subscribe to several boxes but 2 years ago I started randomly passing out and having debilitating migraines. I had to quit my job, so I had to give up my subscriptions. Starting January 2023 my headaches have been so bad that I've only left the house to go to doctor appointments. I've tried all the migraine remedies including trigger point injections and Botox with very minimal relief. I was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia and learned I would need surgery or this would basically be my life. Insurance doesn't cover the surgery, so $18,000 later, I will have the surgery in May. I pray I get my life back!! I hope you are able to find out what's going on with you and that it's easily treatable. I have a long way to go before I'll be able to afford any subscriptions, but in the meantime I'll just continue to enjoy your channel. Please forgive the rambling! Wipe the brush through multichromes and spray with liquid (can be water) and apply. If you don't have glitter glue, this makes metalics pop. 😊

If you aim your light at the wall or ceiling, you can bounce a more diffused light back at yourself.

I found an herbal peach tea from Amazon that is really good, you might like it too since you love peach flavor.
I believe I've heard that if you put those multichromes over a black eyeshadow, it pops even more. I could be wrong, though.

The trigeminal nerve goes in three directions and one is through your cheek. My cheek goes numb any time I have inflammation. I’d get it checked out to keep it from becoming a painful issue.
A couple months ago I had that feeling in my face by my sinuses . I went to my doctor. I had a deep sinus and ear infection. I was put on heavy antibiotics. And was told to do steam baths to breathe in the steam to unclog my sinuses.

I don't have to pay shipping for my eye scream box. I like the multichromes, but you lose product trying to open them. I was also kinda sad that both of the ones they sent were both green to golds. I'd love to have gotten the red pigment you got. I've been searching for one that shift.💙🌻
So from what I understand, talc itself isn’t bad. It's just that it occurs naturally alongside asbestos. And can easily be contaminated with the extremely dangerous asbestos if not handled safely. (Cheaply sourced talc is more likely to be subect to contamination). So mmm it's a tricky one. x

It sounds like sinus issues, if you don't want to go to the dr right now maybe try flonase? It worked great when my sinuses were so bad it caused pressure on my ears and made me lose all my balance for a bit. Also the eyescream box was my fav, I want that colorshift eyeshadow so bad now.

Talc itself is not dangerous. The issue is that talc is always found with asbestos. High quality talc makes a greater effort to remove the asbestos, lower grade talc is less refined.

I used to subscribe to several boxes but 2 years ago I started randomly passing out and having debilitating migraines. I had to quit my job, so I had to give up my subscriptions.
Starting January 2023 my headaches have been so bad that I've only left the house to go to doctor appointments. I've tried all the migraine remedies including trigger point injections and Botox with very minimal relief. I was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia and learned I would need surgery or this would basically be my life.
Insurance doesn't cover the surgery, so $18,000 later, I will have the surgery in May. I pray I get my life back!!
I hope you are able to find out what's going on with you and that it's easily treatable.
I have a long way to go before I'll be able to afford any subscriptions, but in the meantime I'll just continue to enjoy your channel.
