I do wonder about the nature/nurture aspect of some of these quirks. It's been 20+ years since I had a sociology course to write essays for but since it's been stated that a quirk really is an extension of the person who has it, like being good at sports or an instrument, you do have to stop and reflect on how lives would be different. If Tenko's dad hadn't been so anti hero, maybe Tenko could have found a positive use for his decay quirk. It's so useful if used in a smart way. Same as Toga or Twice. Either one of their abilities would work well in heroics if they had consent to copy. Toga is a bit of a problem due to the blood angle but, if donated instead of stolen, she could have done amazing work as a decoy or something, especially after her awakening when she figured out she could actually use the quirk of the person whose blood she'd ingested.

Dad was the only one he lunged for with intent to utterly destroy. I can't say I blamed him, all things considered, given how he'd been treated by the guy. I understand why Deku is drawn to the child aspects of Shigaraki and wants to save him due to that.

This reminds me of an AU I’ve been making where Tenko gets taken in by Touya and Endeavour. Eventually, since no other facility wants to take him in, he’s adopted into the Todoroki family, and seeing him train with Touya to control their quirks together makes Endeavour believe in Touya as his successor again, meaning Shoto never gets born. Tenko still tries really hard to be a hero, he’s very Deku-like, but the problems with his foster father, the hazy memories he’s forgotten around the Shimura household’s deaths, and the issues with hero society he keeps finding, all pile up more and more, threatening to drive him and his itch over the edge, and the reader slogs through a continuous tension of knowing how Tenko ends up in canon and that with all the crap Tenko Todoroki has to put up with, his idealism and heroism might fall to the very same tragic hatred if just one slip up happens

I’ve really loved Shigaraki since day one. Not just because he’s a good villain. He’s someone who to me seemed broken in more ways than one. And I really sympathized I mean yeah he’s done some pretty bad things but after learning about his backstory oh man did I cry. Damn what he went through really royally sucks. And I don’t blame him at all with what he did to his family specially his dad. And then having All for one come to him and make him even more messed up than he already was. I truly wish that this was the outcome of his story or at least he had some spark of hope and kindness that was shown to him by someone other than All for one. 😢
i don't know why, but the protective cat made me so emotional. this was a really cool video with a concept that could have changed everything about the HeroAca universe. so many of the villains could have made great heroes if this system existed, if someone else had stumbled upon them when they were at their lowest, or if hero society were just that bit more open minded about 'villainous quirks' and mutations.
But you guys aren't getting what he means he's saying that he would be treated like shinzo people telling him that his quirk is better for villain work even though he wants to be a hero an not everyone is like shinzo where he 10000% wants to be a hero despite what his quirk is like shigaraki might go to the other side especially if say it was on the new that as a kid shigaraki killed his entire family I can see it being like naruto nobody talking to him people telling their kids to stay away or insulting him as he walks pass calling him a murder an all that an even if he say has a good mentor bad stuff can still turn you especially if you already have anger inside of you take anakin for example he had a good master who viewed him like family but because of his life an how he was raised an what happened to him it made it easier for him to be turned to the darkside

Mental health struggles, Heteromorph prejudice, social welfare/care for the poor...I think that's the best thing about this story. The real issues aren't explored through the main storyline, but mostly through the side characters
I feel like the only villain CHARACTERS that could turned good if the class 1a characters or all might found are twice, toga, touya, shigaraki, and overhaul. If endeavor wasn't a bad father and cast touya aside, then touya wouldn't have become dabi if ochoako, mina, tsyu, and momo went to the same middle school as toga then they would have helped toga with her quirk problems and be there for her, as for twice, I feel like the only way for twice to turned good is that hawks has to be in the same city as twice cause in the war arc, hawks tries to convince twice to turned good so if hawks was in the same city as twice and twice stills attempts to rob a bank using his clone quirk then hawks would stop him put him in jail and try to change twice ways if all might found out who shigaraki is early then shigaraki would have walked down a good path and so would overhaul
Toya could not be a hero. That was the whole point of Endeavours flash back with him, and all might would have told him that. The rest maybe but toya had a self destructive quirk.

I wonder if Tenko can control his quirk to the point to where when he touches a Villain he can control how much he can decay like a hand, arm, leg or travel straight to the heart decaying it.

If this can happened for Tenko, I can see it happened to Jin and Kaina as well. And the timing will be perfect as well because Jin and Kaina are at the same age as Aizawa, Yamada and Nerumi. Just one of them ran into Jin after he has been fired from his job and seeing him about to commit a crime to get money to feed him, they stopped him and asked him about how can someone their age decided to become a criminal. As for Kaina, Nerumi met her while as she's considering the offer from the Hero Public Safety Commission and somehow convinced her not to join such an organization. As for Mr. Compress and Magne, they're most likely going to remain as villains but they may not join the League of Villains either. So they may work as independent villains who are preaching Oji Harima's reformation to the society. Now, for Spinner and Dabi, I really do not know. Spinner may become Tenko's friend in the future but for Dabi, his discovery means the end of Endeavor's career. So I really do not know what to do with him. P.S: Nine and his team can be part of the League of Villains in this universe, replacing those who are part of the group in the canon.

Funnily enough I was recently reading a fanfic called Heroes Never Die It’s Hero Time that asks what if Izuku had the Omnitrix and Ochako had One for All and another called Why are we here which asks what if Class 1-A was a program to reform young vigilantes and villains along with kids with dangerous quirks. I also had the idea of what if Grim from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy was forced to serve Class 1-A, one situation I thought of was Tenya stealing the scythe to reap Stain.
If he learned to control his Quirk, then it's very much possible. He only really got his super power decay after the Meta Liberation Army Arc, before that he held himself back. His decay was slow and weak. Still strong enough to kill someone, but as we see when he touched Aizawa at the USJ, he only crumbled skin and a bit of muscle tissue when the touched his elbow. Nowhere near enough to kill someone. Plus, there's Rescue Heroes, the kind of heroes that don't engage in actual villain combat but help with disaster relief efforts. At which, Tenko's Quirk could be awesome, decaying debris people are trapped under.

What if all might defeated all for one (as in destroyed him) 4. What if bakugou was never kidnapped 5. What if shigaraki lost against redestro 6. What if deku best todoroki during the sports festival 7. What if todoroki used his fire against bakugou during the sports festival
1. Deku would have a faster time or smoother process mastering All for one. 2. Then He would defeat AFO and deku wouldnt be the protagonist. 3. There would be no need for Deku and sadly, he wouldn't get one for all. Nana and all might would team up to defeat all for one. 4. When you mean destroy, do you mean kill? Either way, Japan would be at peaceful times but that wouldnt be the end. What about the league quirk awakening or All for ones world wide influence in villainy? 4. The league would have failed and all for one and all might wouldnt have met when they did. 5. Shigaraki would die and the league would die as well due to the greater number in man power. 6. Deku would move up to go against Bakugou but would lose. Kacchan has been training with his quirk better and longer than deku since he has no limiter like izuku at the time. 7. Nothing much. He might simply beat him or kill him depending on how intense the flames are.
my guess on what happens next, everyone sees what is going on in the building with tenko and aizawa is sent in to take care of the situation and calm him down. Then they sit there crying together mourning the freind they lost. In the distant future it woul be interesting if Toga finds out about this place as she is finding it dificult to keep up apearances and she also joins them. That and a good amount of the other league members. I can also imagine Tenko eventually becoming a hero and fighting All for one only to find out that his old freind and savior is on the villains side. It could be reveiled like how Tenko's own identity was reveiled to all might in the original but with quite a bit worse fall out.
