It’s when they’re screaming and tearing the place down I can’t handle them being in there, if we’ve had a good run around in the morning they’re welcome to come in for a snooze (as long as they don’t start snoring which both of them do!) 🐱✨
Excellent work! I think you did a great job. I particularly liked the final framing with your "fireplace cubby" off of your right shoulder. The height of that cubby really balanced the square shelves on your left. I just moved myself and am still trying to figure out where and how I'll be filming so I found this video very inspiring. As far as lighting goes, you may want a 3rd light behind you, whether it's something focused on your background or something more ambient. I used to use softbox lights but they were too big for the small space i was working with so I finally switched to LED panels. Best part of the LEDs is being able to adjust their brightness. However you figure it out, you're well on your way to having a gorgeous new studio. Congrats! xox

I’m going to filming a full room tour with the final set up now I’ve had more time to set everything up properly, I do definitely need another light (the overhead light broke as we were trying to change the bulb whoops) it’s all still a work in progress, but the lighting is needing help 😂✨

In your little shelf above the “fireplace” maybe a decorative lantern, that you can seasonally decorate with foliage and florals etc x I massively wish I had space x but two adult sons are in my future craft room lol (they are 25 & 18) then I can add my makeup set up in my bedroom x as I currently have far too much to put anything on display in my room x palettes are in large plastic baskets and I have a huge beauty trolley and about 10 Glossybox boxes full of makeup and eyelashes etc 🫣then bags full of skincare stuff x cause if I put it in my bathroom my adult sons decide it’s then for all to use 😮cheeky sods x I love your set up x but would definitely use your wardrobe top of it (if there is room) for your empties and lighting extras so you can then use the baskets for your other skincare and hair care to lighten the baskets (if that makes sense) also maybe some cheap plastic drawers for under your desk that can hold your daily used skincare and cleansers etc x means it’s hidden from view but very accessible but superb usage of the room xx
Hahaha I always used to have my makeup collection in old glossy box boxes! I’m going to be grabbing another set of the Alex drawers soon but I do think something for under the table will be useful too! Thank you so much for watching and commenting 🥰✨

are you opposed to have the drawers on the side of your table? Or you rather have it in the background serving also as decor? I would think having it closer to you will facilitate you grabbing stuff to use more.
Excellent point! I was thinking that the way Milli was sitting, she was completely hiding those drawers anyway.
I do think you should move the clear plastic container ontop of your Alex 9 drawer onto the top of your cubby. Idk why but I feel like it would look better.
The plastic drawers are now on my table with my skincare and hair care products in, I’m going to do a full room tour soon to show the way I’ve set it up now I’ve had more time to settle 🥰✨
