Love the new background💜I've not tried technic before but i'm def tempted now, the orange/peachy lip balm is exactly what i wanted the new lisa eldridge lip balm to be. unfortunately the LE one isn't really what i was looking for so i'll have to try the technic one for sure.

In your little shelf above the “fireplace” maybe a decorative lantern, that you can seasonally decorate with foliage and florals etc x I massively wish I had space x but two adult sons are in my future craft room lol (they are 25 & 18) then I can add my makeup set up in my bedroom x as I currently have far too much to put anything on display in my room x palettes are in large plastic baskets and I have a huge beauty trolley and about 10 Glossybox boxes full of makeup and eyelashes etc 🫣then bags full of skincare stuff x cause if I put it in my bathroom my adult sons decide it’s then for all to use 😮cheeky sods x I love your set up x but would definitely use your wardrobe top of it (if there is room) for your empties and lighting extras so you can then use the baskets for your other skincare and hair care to lighten the baskets (if that makes sense) also maybe some cheap plastic drawers for under your desk that can hold your daily used skincare and cleansers etc x means it’s hidden from view but very accessible but superb usage of the room xx

That bronzer looks beautiful on you. I have to say, though, at first glance, the bronzer in the pan reminds me of a petri dish, lol

Excellent work! I think you did a great job. I particularly liked the final framing with your "fireplace cubby" off of your right shoulder. The height of that cubby really balanced the square shelves on your left. I just moved myself and am still trying to figure out where and how I'll be filming so I found this video very inspiring. As far as lighting goes, you may want a 3rd light behind you, whether it's something focused on your background or something more ambient. I used to use softbox lights but they were too big for the small space i was working with so I finally switched to LED panels. Best part of the LEDs is being able to adjust their brightness. However you figure it out, you're well on your way to having a gorgeous new studio. Congrats! xox

I just got this palette in the mail today. I think it looks stunning. I tried the green/brown duochrome and it delivers. I just wish it had a better inner highlight color, the "white" option has such a dark pink shift. Anyways, thanks for the video.

are you opposed to have the drawers on the side of your table? Or you rather have it in the background serving also as decor? I would think having it closer to you will facilitate you grabbing stuff to use more.

A cute nosey kitty. All the cats that I owned destroyed plants. I love the new room especially what looks like a fireplace. I cannot hear traffic noise or airplanes, but I do hear the wonderful sound of birds singing 🌺 I think that you did a great job.

Here’s a little tip… if you like the wand in a mascara but not the actual product, keep the wand because it may work in a different mascara. Perhaps one that you love the formula but not the wand. I’ve got a little container with just mascara wands that I’ve kept!!❤

My biggest problem is getting rid of eyeshadow!!! I can do fairly good with all the other goodies but I’m just obsessed with eyeshadow 😂❤

Did the bronzing drops have any glitter? I've been trying the revolution glow drops, not the bronzing drops (my skin doesn't see the light of day so I've thought not to bother) and the blush drops. The glow drops are good, but I wish it had a bit less glitter (I am a mature woman!!). I really wanted to like the blush drops but feel like they make me look like the "no offence lady" from the fast show, too peachy maybe. Also glittery like the glow drops. Not tried the Drunk Elephant rosi o-bloos to compare. When I use them my skin feels good and seems to stay soft to touch and not dry out through the day,. Am experimenting with 2 drops glow one drop blush, because otherwise it's a waste... Oh and not keen on the fragrance...

Those I heart revolution and the MUA powder highlights are such a throwback. I still love my MUA ones! xx
