In my opinion, First you should give one year to preparation and then give the attempt.

Can you please talk about PLAN B during the preparation. Being aware of the uncertainity of the examination, it gives us a constant pressure if we have only selection through this examination as the only career option. It's been bothering me and I'm guessing this is the case with many other aspirants as well who start their preparation right after graduation. Keeping a Plan B is good but if you are young enough like 21 or 22 then you should dedicatedly prepare for this examination at least for 2 attempts after that you need to think for backup.

Graduation third year.
The only thing you can do right now is make a habit of reading newspapers and understand their sections
Be familiar with the words and concepts
If there’s anything related to GDP, then try to understand what is GDP
This will help later on when you start preparing
Preparation of UPSC from now will be exhaustive if you’re not able to clear in first attempt after such 3-4 years preparation
You’ll be demotivated , what you have prepared in 3-4 years, you have to adapt new pressure of preparing it in just one year.
One and half year is enough
You can go through newspaper and in graduation go through optional..
