There's this other floo main player Gimichu in MDM or @Floowandreeze on youtube, they play jack-in-the-hand instead of small world. play no ht besides shifter and imperm. no evenly aswell. but they made it to high rank in the duel cup, thoughts on that version?
Thank you for the video! I was having lots of hard times going second... And i want to ask yo a question. After summoning Empen, i feel confused about which card to add to my hand. Adventure, DT, unexplored winds or Map... In which situation we should choose which one, i will be very glad if you help.
you want to end your turn on a set dreaming town, so you only add other cards with empen if you know that you still can get to dreaming town. if you add map for example, you can banish dreaming town and grab it with toccan
technically every card in the extra deck has its purpose. the most important ones are any blackwings for chinooks effect, lyriluscs and zeus, linkuriboh or anima with sp little knight and ty-phon but keep in mind that the extra deck only rarely comes up, like once in 20-50 games
its in the video description. however, cowrie will be added to master duel tomorrow which will replace small world. so i wouldnt bother learning the lines.
@@nothingtosayMD oh… will you be doing a new video with the updated deck/list? I really do love the cute birds and have been saving for a while to learn how to play them
@@MrXwingzerox @MrXwingzerox its my main deck that im playing since its release in the tcg. i likely will upload floo gameplay once a month. besides that, i will show other control/going second decks
yea, you just need some blackwing synchros to be able to use chinooks effect. you can use any blackwings for that. i recommend 4 since thats a 1% chance to banish off of extrav
@@nothingtosayMD Because they are too expensive, they are UR cards. By the way, what’s the difference between 'Small World' and 'Jack-in-the-Hand'? It seems like more decks use 'Small World'.

Nice, I came up with a similar deck for Floo, glad to see this type of strategy working well! What was happening at 9:30? Could you not get to Empen or was there something to dodge?
just think what would happen if i would try to do my combo 1. ns robina, get eglen 2. ns eglen, get empen 3. opponent chains sp little knight on robina/eglen and itself = i end up with empen and 0 little birds in hand which means i lose on the spot. you need 3 birds to play into sp, i only had 2
Thanks for explanation, that was easy to grasp. Another question, how come you couldn't use Avian on Evenly matched at 17:50? I am not that experienced with master duel yet, started playing in s29.
@Xaeric. i couldve used it. but i knew my opponent had branded fusion in hand and if he resolved that there was the possibility of me losing the game. keeping apex for his branded fusion meant that he had 0 cards left to play with while i myself was 100% guaranteed to win the game in 3 turns because i could use raiza to stack his deck with dead cards. my opponent realized that too and surrendered
no. it comes up every 20-50 games. if you play chinook you should have some blackwings. besides that the zeus package with lyriluscs and a link 1 with sp little knight is kinda important
@@matsuba4230 if you want to win big tournaments, you will not have a chance with floo. but if we are talking about something like reaching master 1, yea floo is absolutely fine and good enough to do that easily
no, you still can trade your chinook for almost any card including robina. jack in the hand gives you an additional eglen/stri, so you still need another card to combo with. small world on the other side gives you whatever you want. either the combo starter, the missing combo piece or a handtrap like maxx c. the problem with small world is that it goes -1 while jack in the hand is card neutral. personally, i could never play this deck in md without small world. you will have a lot unpleasant games without it due to bricking. people who dont play small world, rather add floodgates that keep them alive until they get a live hand. i rather play from the beginning.

@@caseynivans7885 my reasoning was to play around ash blossom. that way i was able to chain block ash twice. you could think that he likely wouldnt have ash because he didnt used it on maxxc but he was able to end on an almost perfect endboard while only giving me one card. a good player wouldve kept ash in this case. since imperm was no possibility his only realistic interruption aside ash blossom wouldve been effect veiler and i was able to play around one too this way. if i didnt use advent i mightve played around 2 effect veilers depending on how my opponent wouldve used them. so in this exact case it was a better play to keep advent. also in most duels it is better to keep advent. however, i decided that in this game it was better to play around ash+veiler instead of playing around veiler+veiler. almost losing to double effect veiler doesnt mean my play was bad. stastistically it still was good but unlucky in this game. its bias to think otherwise. so that was the thinking behind that game, i hope you understand that. but as you correctly stated, in most other cases it wouldve been better to hold on advent
Genuinely, who tf created this deck? You know damn well someone was just overly fucking obsessive with birds, and thought “yk what? lets ruin the entire game with this overpowered ass play-style, that nobody will really want to actually play with, cause the card art looks childish and gay!” Then people like this go out of their way to make it their whole personality, just to be annoying. Play Blackwing if you’re that obsessed with birds!! 😤😤 (If you can’t tell, I’m absolutely sick of playing against this bs.)
