    So awesome for education. Can follow along and try out your own projects without needing a Master's degree, patience, and 36 hours to blow to get the environment set up right.

      @@edgar_benitez Sure there's some benefit to knowing how to set all this up manually by ourselves, but there's a similar value in doing all our coding in notepad.exe rather than using an IDE. This can make work quicker, too, even for those who already know how to do it manually. The overhead in keeping things complicated scares too many people away, and makes work move super slowly for those who stick to it. I think anything which lowers the barrier to entry and allows more people to more easily do more things is great (:

      @@mnivityok Don't worry Google has launched a paid version of it, Google collab pro, so probably they are not going to go that route.

    Here I thought Deep learning would be hard... Turns out it is just minor coding and learning how to use tools like Colab and Tensorflow. Sure, to master it one should learn mathematics to coding and everything in between! But I'll worry about that in time, thank you Google!

      actually, if you look at the top-right corner you can see that the notebook wasn't yet connected to a Python runtime... so really that was 5 seconds to get a runtime allocated, connected, initialised, and then run the line of code, which seems fast enough

    If Colab could switch between all popular programming languages, I would find it very useful. I'm sure Python is awesome, but I don't know a thing about it, and am currently trying to learn a bit about Java. I also want to learn other programming languages as I go along. I can't seem to get all the different Java related things to install and work correctly on my PC, so Colab would solve that, if it had a Java option.

    I'm no coder but that's not what happened -- it just printed the numbers in the range 1:10. Don't get me wrong I love this guy's style, but this was a rookie mistake that the editors should've picked up

    Please anyone can help me on how can i make the TPUS 8 GPUs recognizable because i type !nvidia-smi and i receive that NVIDIA cannot find any device please update to latest drivers.
