...I don't know what I expected, tbh. This seems super obvious. Like, the Shiny Charm exists and people hunt for shinies that have marks, and there's an equivalent sandwich power for both shinies and marks. It would logically follow there's a Mark Charm.
Yeah, just seemed logical for that to be the reward considering

I was afraid it was going to be a competitive thing, which i would have been disappointed with. But its not, its a cosmetic thing... Which is nice if i manage to get one but I'm not going out of my way to get. I miss ribbons.

Yeah I still haven’t upgraded the polar biome yet haha, I transferred a bunch of the starters from Home or Pokémon GO to complete the Pokédex. (Ofc there’s also upgrades like the item printer that I don’t have either)
I don't have this game. What are the point of marks?
They’re kind of like titles Pokemon can have when you send them into battle! Every wild Pokemon has a chance of being marked and equipping it will give it a title like, for example, “the Cloud Watcher” or “the Unrivaled” (That last one is only obtainable on raid event Pokemon but it was just the first one that came to mind lol). Some marks are also rarer than others, like the rare mark being a one in one thousand chance, giving your Pokemon the title “the Recluse”

Won't be surprised if it gets done away with the following generation. Even though Generation 8 did sorta introduce them, so maybe they aren't really going anywhere.
But still, that's a bit of a pointless cosmetic thing for extra Pokémon uniqueness.

the only one that isn't is the kitakami reward and the one you get for starting the indigo disk. you get the functional ones way easier.
