A few of you have asked for help with this one, and we've come up with a solution! Keep your requests coming in. www.newbieandme.co.uk #ISOFIX #ParentHack
Finaly a very helpful instruction, tried it for 2 hours with just my fingers and thought either my finger or the button will break when I try harder 🤞😂
Very helpful. Our base was stuck. Followed your technique with the loop in a pair of big scissors and came off first time both sides. Big thanks from some frustrated parents!
Honestly.. what a terrible terrible design fault. Mines stuck in the car... it should take less than 60 seconds to remove the base but I'm trying anything and everything to grip them badly designed clips and 1 side comes out with brute strength and the other side just doesn't budge. God knows how my wife would manage if I can't. Also trying to do this in a car is a little different to trying to do it in a showroom where you're able to be more agile. They should recall these bases and redesign them.
Iv just managed to break 1 side orange switch. It's weird because 1 side came our easily now how do I take it off with No clip. Definatly a fault with the design
Hi, we’re sorry to hear you’re not happy with your product. It’s best to contact your retailer in these situations and they will be able to advise you on suitable solutions 😊
I want to install my daughters new seat but can’t for the live of me get this off!! This works on one side but the other is completely stuck 😩😩😩 so frustrated we can’t use her new seat!!
@@Spenr1337 you will need a flat screwdriver and rip through the plastic cover over and around the jaw of the lock when inside is visible you will see a spring rip the spring out and use the flat screw driver and push back the lock manually with force it will open up. I then contacted my supplier and they sent me a new base..
Hey, Jonathan. Sorry to hear this trick didn't work for you. The idea is to hook something around the catch, in order to have a better grip at pulling it loose. Perhaps you could try string or something of this nature?
The worst most infuriating design ever. Mine is literally stuck in the car and my fingers and red roar from trying to remove. I will never buy any line of this product ever again. Beyond infuriating.

Will be too late for you but had the same problem and found you have to pull both symmetrically to get them to release. Poor design!
@@TheCactusPhil thank you! It worked for us eventually I just had to lift the leg first to reduce the tension ☺️ and lots of swearing 🤣
Iv broke 1 of the orange clips as it seemed jammed and wasn't moving at all. How do I realise this side now please
Hi Zaheen I've just done the same - orange tab snapped off 1 side, base is now stuck how did you get around this?
