Ah yes, I remember playing the PC version of this NASCAR video game back in 2003, a year after it came out. It was very interesting. This NASCAR Thunder installment is one of my all-time favorites due to impressive features and the use of Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride" song. It's another one of those songs that fits the NASCAR motorsport and video games very well. I wish they would still use it in NASCAR media to this day.
I am glad you chose to drive Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s red #8 stock car since it was one of the iconic vehicles of this game, alongside Jeff Gordon's #24 Dupont stock car. This was back when NASCAR vehicles were very colorful. Good racing action!
Oh, and the intro at 0:06 mark, like this: "EA Sports, it's in the game."

My child hood I always play nascar 2003 alot, the most I play Is Daytona 400.
I don't remember this game having these songs. I specifically remember the soundtrack being different.
Bad racing, the acceleration of your car is so slow. This make you lose the draft of the cars in front of you, and also prevents you from winning the race. What's your ideia?
