Whew, I finally got to finish watching this one. What an ending! Thanks for getting the first 3e batrep up and for the masses, the views are looking pretty good so far!
This game looks very cool. I may just pick up then hardback myself. I have core space which is similar in ways and of course gives me lots of compatible terrain.
@@jaguarsdengames8877 I have watched 7 of your campaign games they are great. Have you got in on the new core space Kickstarter due this autumn? I have orders the hardback version of 5 parsecs. I might try and come up with some kind of core space cross over? Anyway really enjoying the vids. Regards Anthony
yyup. As the rules suggest - in case of doubt, allow the shot, but count it as against cover. 11:53 what about the saving throw 18:00 IIRC the AI for stunned characters prioritises shooting - but I only have the 2nd edition, dunno if something changed. 34:35 yup - also, if it wasn't changed from 2nd edition, crewmembers taken out by Stun do not roll for injuries after battle
Because I don’t process rules well, in first play through like this I tend to say.... what makes sense, and what sounds cool... I appreciate you pointing out the errors so I fix next time!
@@jaguarsdengames8877 yup, that's exactly my point. Besides, this game doesn't have too much rules, anyway. I wouldn't be suprised if in your next video you did not make any mistakes... btw, maybe check what Luck does, again? In 2nd edition it basically acted as extra "HP".
Luck ended up close to being correct. Not a reroll. But if the character ends up as a casualty, you play the luck point and he randomly moves (dodges) and you ignore the casualty result. Happy to also see luck points also replenish every game
The rules have guidelines for 2x2 3x3 and one bigger. My first game is on 2x2 and it worked fine although a little cramped. Next game coming up is on a 3x3
When a character is hit and stunned I think he's pushed back 1" as well. So at 17:47 the guy against the stair case should have been pushed out of cover right?
I am really interested in the game but the shipping cost as the moment is a no go, I will have to wait until sometime later when the open their US store front. I was hoping to play this while I waited for stargrave :(
@@masontroupe3043 The Modiphius website says the end of May 2021. I was in the process of purchasing until I saw the shipping charges doubled the price of the purchase. May look at Nordic Weasel on DriveThruRPG.

Laser levels while looking cool do not give a valid line of sight. Your LOS is from above and doesn't account for intervening terrain. A piece of string or a good measuring tape is better. Otherwise I am learning alot thanks.
