Hello Eleise and Lawrence, thank you for your reply. Have a wonderful holiday in Thailand. I live in Perth Western Australia. Is Thailand busy now. My favourite place is Phuket. I have been to Thailand nearly 10 times, and I love it. I usually stay at the Graceland Phuket and Spa Resort. I also enjoy my fishing first thing in the morning. In 2018 for the 8 nights I spent in Phuket, I fished practically every morning, and I caught for the week nearly 40 kg of fish. We call that type of fish Trevelly or Skip Jacks. Sometimes the locals were already there waiting for me. To see smiles on their faces brought tears in my eyes. Enjoy your little girl. Time flies real quick. I love looking at her . She reminds me of Shirley Temple. I heard on one of your video's Lawrence saying that you would be travelling alot with the family, seeing different places. A bit of caution. If you go to India, please be very careful of your pockets [pick pockets] It is very common there. Just ignore them if you go there [beggers]. You give a few coins to one, very soon you will have the whole tribe. The same in Portugal, Italy, and Rome. Portugal, pick pockets, and in Italy and Rome, becareful of Gypsies. Seeing you in person. Anybody would have to think twice. I am sure you would sting like a Bee. Have a great holiday. Cheers and God Bless.

I was lucky to go on Maya Bay but it was always extremely crowded and suffered from major mass tourism. Due to the corals being damaged, they had to close it and redo everything. I actually did Phi Phi one da tours from Phuket and Krabi as well as staying at Phi Phi Don for 3 nigghts. I have been to Thailand 4 times with the last visit being in Feb 2020 as COVID started to rise

We swam in that lagoon but didn't know that there would be sharks as well
All those Islands in Thailand are magnificient. If you get sea sick. I will tell you what is the remedy for it. Please do not look into the water from where you are sitting. If you look far away while the boat is going you will not get sick. Try it and see if it works for you.

Honestly , give Maya Bay a miss . I was there a couple of weeks ago and the snorkelling was far better at every other spot that we stopped.

We have some National parks closed for nature to heal itself. This allows sharks to come for a living near the beach. But it is not a ferocious blacktip shark. However, it should not be underestimated. 🙏😊

No problem at all thanks for the comment : ) The boat tour cost us around 1,500 Baht for a 3 hour trip.
I wish it would stay closed before covid you could easily have 5000 people a day on the beach. Amazing Thailand has so much to offer one month unfortunately is no where long enough to see this country

Vid by park officials found over 100 sharks close to the beach meaning after 3 years of closure its habitats have come back. The government is working on all parties concerned how to open the bay with benefit to all people. Stay tuned. FYI, the fully grown sharks are two meters long and not aggressive compared to other kinds of sharks. They eat at night mostly small fish. During the day they like to hide around coral reefs.
