I feel like they came here after Road to kingdom bc they asked them to come and they were ready to became even more perfect(if that's even possible) and show off their skills,not to win. And in Monster stage they were all perfecty in sinch while dancing I couldn't stop starring how much that amazed me,it's like when people talk about Seventeen's synchronized dancing and now you clearly see an example of such stage of another artist. I’m in tears. We’re so lucky to watch how our boys are growing. This performance is legendary. Every part of it is so well done: song, dance, outfits, concept, visuals, storyline. Our boys are so freaking talented. For every performance they work so hard. No matter what the results will be, The Boyz will forever be the winners.
To be honest, this performance was the best. Their moves were on point. They don't do unnecessary moves. They really know how to control their bodies. They're awesome dancers, really. Sangyeon's high note was awesome too. They did great using the stage, VCR, props, etc. Their outfits were good too. Everything in this performance was near to perfection. I so love this. They're talented indeed. Kudos to them. 💕
true. i feel like other groups had unnecessary gestures specially when rapping, but the boyz remained calm and composed, there are no exaggerated movements and facial expressions remained natural throughout the performance. plus they used vcr instead of stage props to highlight their dancing (there's literally two props in their performance) and to give a variety of emotions.
as someone who didn't watch most of kingdom and doesn't stan any of the groups (but has closely followed queendom), from a musical standpoint this song is the most exciting one to listen to and quite enjoyable on its own without a visual stage
People really complained that tbz used in between vcr but the fact is that only TBZ can pull off such performance. Its not easy to match timing and give off such perfect performance. This seemed easy because tbz made it looks like easy.
I'm an Atiny and I only just watched this video, barely knowing The BOYZ, but oh my GOD- this was such a good performance! I'm sorry to hear that they really didn't score very well overall but it just goes to show how much bias there is on shows like these because this was virtually flawless and really well-done. I hope to see more of them in the future
i’ve been into k-pop since 2017 and this is undoubtedly one of the best live stages I’ve ever seen. this song is SO good and they performed it so smoothly and consistently. you can clearly see how much effort they put into it and how everything came out as a masterpiece.
i’m not a fan of them but the performance was one of the best performance for that last stage from vocal, outfits etc. i think they deserve recognition
the boyz really did well. The boyz’s team work is so good. So sync and trust each other. Non-fans like me can see it Im sure everybody can see it. The fact that they in 2nd place amazed me. Their company also show so much support with the budget. Their fans also show so much support with the charts

Their vlives are not monitored, they did not put the members on diet, they did when they just debuted and it was optional the members even ate pizza and chicken while being on diet. The staff even orders their favourite food occasionally. English subs! Freedom to express themselves and taking care of the artists. They are even allowed to be themselves(crackheads) and the comapny won't mind it
six months later and i still think this is one of the best performances, stages, choreographies, songs EVER. they're just on another level. they're setting the bar HIGH. nothing more nothing less to me they're the real winners of this show because nothing can top this and if you say otherwise you're biased

Watching this again and realized how I got to be their fan during Kingdom because of my previous comment here. Hahaha. Remember streaming this single the most in Apple music when it released. Supported everyone but began rooting for them in the end. Glad they rose to 2nd place. :D Hope you get bigger. :')

Plus the way they incorporated everything in this performance-paying tribute to all of their stages from RTK to Kingdom, the elements present in their KD stages (ice, water, air, fire, sun, moon), and the GOT reference. It was the perfect ending to the whole narrative they made throughout the show.
ikr, and the fact that this is also the start of the storyline. juyeon said that their performances were put in chronological order since mama2020, but in reverse. i really enjoyed how they incorporated their concept continuously without overdoing it.

TBZ will always be the winner in The Bs hearts. As this chapter has ended, let us anticipate the future that awaits both THE BOYZ and The Bs. KD may have ended, but a new chapter begins. And I am just so excited to still be with them in this new chapter. We may all have been stressed and mad at mnet, but still opportunities like this is very rare: to be given a platform where you can maximize your full potential and discover your strength individually and as a group. TBZ has been in this show the longest, from RTK to KD, but they always left me in awe. The range of their performances really showcased their versatility. They did not limit themselves to always showcase something powerful.
THE BOYZ has been consistently showing audience the grandiosity of THE BOYZ's KINGDOM. It's Grand, Magnificent, Aesthetic, Graceful, Elegant those words have been the top of my mind whenever THE BOYZ do their stages in RTK + Kingdom. Everything is perfectly done. It's pretty clear that they have meticulously planned the stage production, have crystal clear direction in each performance, everything they've shown in each part of the performance fall into the right place with the right intensity. THE BOYZ indeed, a Master of Concept when the curtain rises, a Flawless Executor until the curtain falls.
I don’t care if they doesnt got the 1st place, cause their fandom is not big as the other contestant. But for me, TBZ got 1st for the concept in every performance. They harmonization sounds great too And don’t forget, They always got the high score from expert judges
Yeaah I did notice The Boyz concept and performance throughout Kingdom is actually very very very good. I'm amazed with their stage presence and story plot, I love their Games of Throne reff, red wedding is so good, plus dance wise they're A+ sync. Strong vocal too!! Lots of high notes but super stable delivery. They definitely made a big impression on me!!!

they were so underscored the entire competition. their choreography was incredibly difficult and ALWAYS CLEAN. each stage was extremely well rehearsed and thought out. I feel sad that fan voting had such an impact and seeing the other groups not voting for their performances. they were absolutely incredible! it was obvious to see that other groups were intimidated by them. they may not have a large fan base, but they’re EXTREMELY hard working, talented and humble!
fr. kingdom was just a popularity contest ever since mnet added the global voting. when i heard skz was gonna be in kingdom, i knew they were gonna win becuz of the global voting. they had #1 constantly, even if they got #6 or #5 on the expert evaluations. it was very biased. if global voting was NOT there, the boyz or ateez would've won easy peasy.
Please tell me I'm not the only one addicted to this song. Like I don't need to play this all day long because of streaming purpose but simply because it's a good great song, it filled with emotion and it hit you every time you listen to it. the fact that it related with their storyline since RTK... I felt it man i felt it. All tbz need to to now is to write a novel out of it so I can finally understand wth is going on since day 1.
@Marlyn Hinay the parts, when there was a fire behind them (outdoor) and when they were wearing white shirts, these were pre-recorded, right? The way they incorporated them so smoothly into their live performance was just ... jaw dropping. I mean, how? 😭😭❤️❤️❤️
having marathoned all of their stages from rtk up until this performance, I think that the most impressive thing about tbz is definitely the fact that they have always prioritised making each of their stages an experience. amidst all of the stress and competition, not only did they manage to make each performance connect narratively through reoccurring themes and motifs (eg: moon/sun; ice/fire) but they also were able to ensure that the stages were unique from one another. and what’s fascinating is the fact that the changes they made were never exactly drastic nor were they necessarily grand either. they’d go from utilising LED screens as a form of optical illusion (No Air) to using a projector and allowing their own shadows to be part of their routine (Monster). one of my favourite moments from kd was when they used a blank sheet of fabric and some lighting during juyeon’s dance solo in No Air. it was simple but incredibly effective. and that’s another thing. their highlights have never felt misplaced or excessive either, they were always purposefully incorporated in order to propel their storyline. the unique point of their performances ranged from a certain prop (the Chajeon Nori log frames during Reveal) to stunt work (Danger) to less conventional dance styles (eg: contemporary, traditional, tango). from creating sets on their stage (Checkmate) to POV style camerawork (No Air), they have shown by far the widest range out of any act and that is undeniable. for Kingdom Come, they used VCR footage as being part of the main performance rather than a simple extension of it ala an introduction video. although this was a risky move, this was likely done as a result of them working around their setbacks. from 2 injured members to 1 member who had to be under quarantine for 2 weeks, they managed to not only work around these issues but, in some way, those “disadvantages” pushed them to be creative with their approach and ultimately led to the creation of yet another memorable stage, a perfect finale to their already impeccable repertoire. as difficult as it has been to watch them grow disheartened throughout the course of the show, causing them to even question their own skills at certain points, I imagine that the experience has been incredibly bittersweet for the members. i’m sure that they themselves know that a similar opportunity such as this, one where they could consistently flaunt their creativity and artistry, might not come as easily after this so they made each stage count and it showed. there’s a certain phrase that i like saying and it’s, “dancing like your life depends on it,”. for tbz, it genuinely felt as though they treated every single stage as if it was their last and that is a trait that is so unbelievably special. to see people who so obviously live and breathe to be on stage and are in total sync with their craft, as a performer myself, it makes me emotional and i can’t help but feel moved. tbz are storytellers through and through and no trophy or title can ever take that away from them. it’s been a privilege to watch them grow over the past 1.5 years. i hope they enjoy some well deserved rest before their next round of promotions (which I’m sure they’ll deliver as usual). thank you so much to the people who worked with them (the creative team, back up dancers, staff, etc.). you all were fundamental in making these stages come to life and should feel immensely proud with the outcome. lastly, to tbz, thank you for letting us witness your journey in becoming the artists that you are. the possibilities for a performer are endless when you have the right mentality and I have no doubt that these boys most certainly do. keep being the stars that you’ve worked so hard to be

It was a bittersweet journey to them and to us. They exhausted physically and mentally, cause they perform since RTK but it's opportunity to them too to make them getting to known. Kingdom come lyrics it was a deep for me it's sad, emotional and on fire to winning this stage. They did it very well and deobis support them well too.

Even though THE BOYZ didn’t get first place, I firmly believe that out of all the groups who joined Kingdom (including Road to Kingdom) TBZ has benefited the most from this show. You all know how some Kpop songs are tagged as sounding “too western” therefore don’t fit Koreans’ taste in music? Well the thing about THE BOYZ, their music appeals to the general public (Koreans)-and this is the reason why their Korean fanbase has gotten so big in a short span of time. They needed domestic exposure, they got it through these two shows. Also, through Kingdom, they were able to get the global exposure that they needed. Kingdom was dominated by groups who are more popular outside of Korea. And the thing about global fans, their music taste is rather diverse. Therefore, some of them might dig TBZ’s music and some would not, but still in the end, the group was able to gain a number of international fans. Finally, THE BOYZ getting the highest digital points with a song that isn’t an official comeback is already a win for me when before Checkmate, their songs hardly chart. So the fact that ‘Kingdom Come’ is dominating charts feels like as if they won already. :) Edit: Topping charts, the highest charting 4th gen bg on Gaon Digital Sales (peak at no. 11) of all time, highest peak by a 4th gen bg on Melon Top100 (peak at no. 17), first ever 4th gen bg to win on Music Core, and many many more achievements for their latest album Thrill-ing!!! The Boyz have come so far!!! I’m so proud of them!!!!!
Yeah, literally none of their songs charted on melon before checkmate (except their debut, which charted briefly at #95). So in less than a year, they went from that to their comeback song charting at #5, a single-use competition song with no promotions charting at #24, and random b-sides and OSTs regularly charting. their ascent in Korea is dizzying

@@Miach_clr yes. They were last place before finale performance but since they got first place on last performance they went up to second place. Triple their scores from before. The Boyz werent able to get any benefit point from sport day or collaboration stages too but they got 2nd place which is so surprising. If only they were 3nd or 4th place I bet they would have been 1st place at the end.

For fourth gen boy groups in general, I think it’s txt? They’re the only one (in terms of 4th gen bg) who entered the new melon chart (aka melon 24hits).
I'm not a deobi but honestly no other groups performance choreography has impressed me as much as The Boyz. It's so unique and creative and the synchronisation is bEYOND flawless, it's the only group that makes me rewind parts 3-4 times just to appreciate how freaking cool and clean it is 👌

i awe at their first performance in rtk and till now, no other group has impressed me as much as theirs. they already set high standard and i cant unstan them since then.
When I watched this live I started crying because I realized how far they've come alongside the fanbase. Seeing them grow since their debut and them finally getting the recognition they deserve makes me feel SUPER emo lol. They didn't win and although I absolutely hated this show, I feel like tbz took a lot out of this experience and learned a lot about themselves. I am very very proud of them as well as us deobi! We worked really hard and I can gladly say that I never felt so included in the loving and hardworking family that is THE B. Pat urself on the back new and old deobis, Tbz is going worldwide!! Let's stick with them till the end :'))

The fact that they continue to improve in their skills during busy promotions in rtk, kingdom and the time spent in between them, never ceases to amaze me. They're truly the best :') And yeah the growing bond between k and i-deobis recently makes me feel so soft. Esp how welcoming both have been in general.
At first, I don’t realized how underrated the boyz were. They really own everything especially the wits, performance skill and teamwork which make me a The B since flower snack too. During reveal their youtube channel only have around 520k subscribers. Now, look they literally gain half of new fan. I’m in tears. We’re so lucky to watch how our boys are growing. This performance is legendary. Every part of it is so well done: song, dance, outfits, concept, visuals, storyline. Our boys are so freaking talented. For every performance they work so hard. No matter what the results will be, The Boyz will forever be the winners.

true. i feel like other groups had unnecessary gestures specially when rapping, but the boyz remained calm and composed, there are no exaggerated movements and facial expressions remained natural throughout the performance. plus they used vcr instead of stage props to highlight their dancing (there's literally two props in their performance) and to give a variety of emotions.

as someone who didn't watch most of kingdom and doesn't stan any of the groups (but has closely followed queendom), from a musical standpoint this song is the most exciting one to listen to and quite enjoyable on its own without a visual stage

People really complained that tbz used in between vcr but the fact is that only TBZ can pull off such performance. Its not easy to match timing and give off such perfect performance. This seemed easy because tbz made it looks like easy.

I'm an Atiny and I only just watched this video, barely knowing The BOYZ, but oh my GOD- this was such a good performance! I'm sorry to hear that they really didn't score very well overall but it just goes to show how much bias there is on shows like these because this was virtually flawless and really well-done. I hope to see more of them in the future
i’ve been into k-pop since 2017 and this is undoubtedly one of the best live stages I’ve ever seen. this song is SO good and they performed it so smoothly and consistently. you can clearly see how much effort they put into it and how everything came out as a masterpiece.

Plus the way they incorporated everything in this performance-paying tribute to all of their stages from RTK to Kingdom, the elements present in their KD stages (ice, water, air, fire, sun, moon), and the GOT reference. It was the perfect ending to the whole narrative they made throughout the show.
ikr, and the fact that this is also the start of the storyline. juyeon said that their performances were put in chronological order since mama2020, but in reverse. i really enjoyed how they incorporated their concept continuously without overdoing it.

TBZ will always be the winner in The Bs hearts. As this chapter has ended, let us anticipate the future that awaits both THE BOYZ and The Bs. KD may have ended, but a new chapter begins. And I am just so excited to still be with them in this new chapter.
We may all have been stressed and mad at mnet, but still opportunities like this is very rare: to be given a platform where you can maximize your full potential and discover your strength individually and as a group. TBZ has been in this show the longest, from RTK to KD, but they always left me in awe. The range of their performances really showcased their versatility. They did not limit themselves to always showcase something powerful.
THE BOYZ has been consistently showing audience the grandiosity of THE BOYZ's KINGDOM. It's Grand, Magnificent, Aesthetic, Graceful, Elegant those words have been the top of my mind whenever THE BOYZ do their stages in RTK + Kingdom. Everything is perfectly done. It's pretty clear that they have meticulously planned the stage production, have crystal clear direction in each performance, everything they've shown in each part of the performance fall into the right place with the right intensity. THE BOYZ indeed, a Master of Concept when the curtain rises, a Flawless Executor until the curtain falls.
I don’t care if they doesnt got the 1st place, cause their fandom is not big as the other contestant. But for me, TBZ got 1st for the concept in every performance. They harmonization sounds great too

Yeaah I did notice The Boyz concept and performance throughout Kingdom is actually very very very good. I'm amazed with their stage presence and story plot, I love their Games of Throne reff, red wedding is so good, plus dance wise they're A+ sync. Strong vocal too!! Lots of high notes but super stable delivery. They definitely made a big impression on me!!!

they were so underscored the entire competition. their choreography was incredibly difficult and ALWAYS CLEAN. each stage was extremely well rehearsed and thought out. I feel sad that fan voting had such an impact and seeing the other groups not voting for their performances. they were absolutely incredible! it was obvious to see that other groups were intimidated by them. they may not have a large fan base, but they’re EXTREMELY hard working, talented and humble!

fr. kingdom was just a popularity contest ever since mnet added the global voting. when i heard skz was gonna be in kingdom, i knew they were gonna win becuz of the global voting. they had #1 constantly, even if they got #6 or #5 on the expert evaluations. it was very biased. if global voting was NOT there, the boyz or ateez would've won easy peasy.

having marathoned all of their stages from rtk up until this performance, I think that the most impressive thing about tbz is definitely the fact that they have always prioritised making each of their stages an experience. amidst all of the stress and competition, not only did they manage to make each performance connect narratively through reoccurring themes and motifs (eg: moon/sun; ice/fire) but they also were able to ensure that the stages were unique from one another. and what’s fascinating is the fact that the changes they made were never exactly drastic nor were they necessarily grand either. they’d go from utilising LED screens as a form of optical illusion (No Air) to using a projector and allowing their own shadows to be part of their routine (Monster). one of my favourite moments from kd was when they used a blank sheet of fabric and some lighting during juyeon’s dance solo in No Air. it was simple but incredibly effective.
and that’s another thing. their highlights have never felt misplaced or excessive either, they were always purposefully incorporated in order to propel their storyline. the unique point of their performances ranged from a certain prop (the Chajeon Nori log frames during Reveal) to stunt work (Danger) to less conventional dance styles (eg: contemporary, traditional, tango). from creating sets on their stage (Checkmate) to POV style camerawork (No Air), they have shown by far the widest range out of any act and that is undeniable.
for Kingdom Come, they used VCR footage as being part of the main performance rather than a simple extension of it ala an introduction video. although this was a risky move, this was likely done as a result of them working around their setbacks. from 2 injured members to 1 member who had to be under quarantine for 2 weeks, they managed to not only work around these issues but, in some way, those “disadvantages” pushed them to be creative with their approach and ultimately led to the creation of yet another memorable stage, a perfect finale to their already impeccable repertoire.
as difficult as it has been to watch them grow disheartened throughout the course of the show, causing them to even question their own skills at certain points, I imagine that the experience has been incredibly bittersweet for the members. i’m sure that they themselves know that a similar opportunity such as this, one where they could consistently flaunt their creativity and artistry, might not come as easily after this so they made each stage count and it showed.
there’s a certain phrase that i like saying and it’s, “dancing like your life depends on it,”. for tbz, it genuinely felt as though they treated every single stage as if it was their last and that is a trait that is so unbelievably special. to see people who so obviously live and breathe to be on stage and are in total sync with their craft, as a performer myself, it makes me emotional and i can’t help but feel moved. tbz are storytellers through and through and no trophy or title can ever take that away from them.
it’s been a privilege to watch them grow over the past 1.5 years. i hope they enjoy some well deserved rest before their next round of promotions (which I’m sure they’ll deliver as usual). thank you so much to the people who worked with them (the creative team, back up dancers, staff, etc.). you all were fundamental in making these stages come to life and should feel immensely proud with the outcome. lastly, to tbz, thank you for letting us witness your journey in becoming the artists that you are. the possibilities for a performer are endless when you have the right mentality and I have no doubt that these boys most certainly do. keep being the stars that you’ve worked so hard to be

To be honest, It's not all about ranking. It's all about how they grow. From RTK, they showed us a masterpiece and nerve-wracking performances. Till Kingdom. I'm so proud of my boys. They are so talented. I love how creative they are. I'm happy because a lot of people stan them now. They received attention that they truly deserved. I know that they're going to be big. I'm so proud to all of you.

Even though THE BOYZ didn’t get first place, I firmly believe that out of all the groups who joined Kingdom (including Road to Kingdom) TBZ has benefited the most from this show. You all know how some Kpop songs are tagged as sounding “too western” therefore don’t fit Koreans’ taste in music? Well the thing about THE BOYZ, their music appeals to the general public (Koreans)-and this is the reason why their Korean fanbase has gotten so big in a short span of time. They needed domestic exposure, they got it through these two shows. Also, through Kingdom, they were able to get the global exposure that they needed. Kingdom was dominated by groups who are more popular outside of Korea. And the thing about global fans, their music taste is rather diverse. Therefore, some of them might dig TBZ’s music and some would not, but still in the end, the group was able to gain a number of international fans. Finally, THE BOYZ getting the highest digital points with a song that isn’t an official comeback is already a win for me when before Checkmate, their songs hardly chart. So the fact that ‘Kingdom Come’ is dominating charts feels like as if they won already. :)
Edit: Topping charts, the highest charting 4th gen bg on Gaon Digital Sales (peak at no. 11) of all time, highest peak by a 4th gen bg on Melon Top100 (peak at no. 17), first ever 4th gen bg to win on Music Core, and many many more achievements for their latest album Thrill-ing!!! The Boyz have come so far!!! I’m so proud of them!!!!!

Yeah, literally none of their songs charted on melon before checkmate (except their debut, which charted briefly at #95). So in less than a year, they went from that to their comeback song charting at #5, a single-use competition song with no promotions charting at #24, and random b-sides and OSTs regularly charting. their ascent in Korea is dizzying

@@Miach_clr yes. They were last place before finale performance but since they got first place on last performance they went up to second place. Triple their scores from before. The Boyz werent able to get any benefit point from sport day or collaboration stages too but they got 2nd place which is so surprising. If only they were 3nd or 4th place I bet they would have been 1st place at the end.

@@mumalchundawat3004 the boyz peaked number 1 in genie and bugs and had the most gaon digital points out of the six. Stray kids and btob also charted well too! For fourth gen boy groups in general, I think it’s txt? They’re the only one (in terms of 4th gen bg) who entered the new melon chart (aka melon 24hits).

I'm not a deobi but honestly no other groups performance choreography has impressed me as much as The Boyz. It's so unique and creative and the synchronisation is bEYOND flawless, it's the only group that makes me rewind parts 3-4 times just to appreciate how freaking cool and clean it is 👌

Thanks to Mihawk Back, the former SM choreographer. Also check out The Boyz's Road To Kingdom stages. The choreos were also created by Mihawk Back. Some of the stages in RTK are legendary (say Reveal and Danger)
i awe at their first performance in rtk and till now, no other group has impressed me as much as theirs. they already set high standard and i cant unstan them since then.
When I watched this live I started crying because I realized how far they've come alongside the fanbase. Seeing them grow since their debut and them finally getting the recognition they deserve makes me feel SUPER emo lol. They didn't win and although I absolutely hated this show, I feel like tbz took a lot out of this experience and learned a lot about themselves. I am very very proud of them as well as us deobi! We worked really hard and I can gladly say that I never felt so included in the loving and hardworking family that is THE B. Pat urself on the back new and old deobis, Tbz is going worldwide!! Let's stick with them till the end :'))
@@flowersnacc7680 couldn't agree more! Tbz is probably one of the most hardworking groups I know of. The fact that they continue to improve in their skills during busy promotions in rtk, kingdom and the time spent in between them, never ceases to amaze me. They're truly the best :') And yeah the growing bond between k and i-deobis recently makes me feel so soft. Esp how welcoming both have been in general.
At first, I don’t realized how underrated the boyz were. They really own everything especially the wits, performance skill and teamwork which make me a The B since flower snack too. During reveal their youtube channel only have around 520k subscribers. Now, look they literally gain half of new fan. See how everyone that involved with The Boyz also compliment their hard worked too. The B cannot be more proud :)
