I have a petrol 1.5cc 7 DCT (Automatic) luxury - optional and it just glides on the road. Milage in city is around 11-12kmpl and in highway ~15kmpl. Interior gives a premium feel unlike any other car in the segment. And comfort is in next level.. no doubt about it for sure 💯% Only concern is the suspension, would have been better in terms of stiffness.. too soft and feels every slight bumps on the road to that size of a car.
Karens reminded me of Honda's B-RV. It had everything except technology prowess to be a perfect family car. Unfortunately it was misunderstood like how Ford Fusion was. Perfect car - best petrol engine with good practicality. Honda must at least give it a thought to bring the latest edition launched in South Asian markets to India.
@carwale 3:22 Carens gets the same digit MID seen in Seltos and Sonet in the luxury and above variants. Other than this luxury and above variants also get the one touch up down function for all windows. Kindly edit and add a disclaimer.
I am surprised when you listed cons......The panoramic sunroof certainly can't be con. In fact, it is good that a good sense prevailed and Kia didn't fall pray to this demand. However, other missing features should be incorporated.... sooner than later....
I understand that it's the top end variants which gets showcased all the time. However, if my understanding is correct the majority of the people would stick to the 1.5 NA that comes in the creta and seltos, due to the affordability and ease of maintenance Can you please include it in your upcoming reviews or comparo Apart from that, as always the review has been spot on :)
Hi...You videos really make sense. I have a confusion here. I have zeroed in Kia Carens Luxury Plus 7 Str 1.5 TURBO. But unable to decide on the IMT or DCT. Can you please help me on the same?
I love the vehicle how they develop this 7 seater and made competetor to Ertiga and XL6. Inspite of having 6 airbags as standard getting 3*** safety rating made me concern to buy it. Hope Kia/Hyundai make same level of cars for both global/Indian variant on same standards.
The Kia Carens is sold in multiple variants and engine/gearbox combinations. Which version would you pick?
Sir Kia Carens Diesel is Better but we have a confusion between iMT & AT. Please give your opinion about it

People must buy more of diesel to support companies producing it, not our minister who is singing Maruti narrative.

As it turns out most people buy the top spec cars in this class as well as in the mid size SUV segment.
I have a diesel manual prestige plus which had been discontinued

Manual petrol vs diesel which one is better sir
It should lauch with cng , na main drawback of not having cng which makes ertiga demanding alot
All BS6 diesels are not suitable for city drive, slow in low gears its a pain in ass due to dpf problem. All companies all BS6 diesels
I have been driving diesel AT in Bangalore traffic for 2 years. No issues till now.

Height and ground clearance is the biggest drawback
