Oh my gosh me too and just recently finally going no contact with my narcisstic mum because of it! At 35 years of age I feel a massive weight has been lifted no mark energy vampire but I’m feeling so uneasy at the same I can only depend on myself. This resonates very strongly! I’ve been through all of this and I did finally wake up to the fact the my ex was truly a Narcissist! I don’t like labels but it’s so obvious to me now! It was really really toxic, painful and confusing. It almost took me out, it was that bad! I thank God and my Angels for protecting me and taking me out of that terrible situation! Spot on i gave my ex narc the child he wanted before he turned 50. My health was not great but we went for it, he said i would always be protected and cared for. When going into labor i nearly died and our baby as well. Our son has severe brain damage.
When he was one year old my ex dropped us off at my parents home. We were making him sick he said and i felt guilty. For years. Our son is now 14 his father never cared for him. I am moving on but i am not financially abundant (yet) because of my health. So he still has control over us because i need him financially. He knows we are not able to survive on what we get monthly. So he has control by me having to ask him for things. I want to be free of the nightmares as well. The rejection i felt is still haunting me.
Hope to be moving on with my boy and my new partner to our well deserved beautiful future and being able to provide for ourselves🙏🏻💕
