Pakistan the ultimate recycle country, it amazes me what they can produce in the open air with the minimum of tools and no regard to health and safety. The majority are hard working young men and would be an asset in the workforce of many Western countries.

@@Altair885 nobody is judging them based on the tools they have available, regardless of tools and resource, they choose to do terrible worl. Terribly welding style, it wouldnt hurt to grind welding areas clean and NOT weld on rust, they could do alot different

Have u driven any Indian truck or just flying butterflies?We dont repair chassis r trucks which have crossed 15 years we just scrap them and abt quality of Indian Trucks just watch Indian Truck body builders. channel.U will b amazed with their craftsmanship.
Don't talk rubbish. Indian truck manufacturer domestic as well as international brands manufactures and exports all around the globe. It is ridiculous to compare this with Indian manufacturer's build quality from Tata, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Eicher, AMW, SML, Dalmier, Volvo, MAN etc
I have respect for the resourcefulness & hard work of these men but to compare these rickety assembly from salvaged parts that too on quality parameters is utterly wishful.

To all viewers who talk about the safety of people's work in the film: There are no institutions or too many legal regulations in Pakistan that would be responsible for occupational safety regulations. This is a completely different reality in which the concept of work safety is the employee himself and his responsible behavior. Many people do not see this point of view. Thanks to this, they do not need insurance regulations etc. They have calculated risks and adversities in their consciousness. They are alive and well, it would be best for them to have more tools to facilitate their work.

I’ve watched many, many videos of the assembly of the nested channel shapes but this is the first disassembly. The ingenuity demonstrated is quite commendable but as I suspected, there is a critical failure in rust-proofing and possibly the selection of welding rod. Surfaces should be cleaned with a twisted bristle rotary brush, powder washed, and coated with two-component epoxy. Welding rod should be 6011 to penetrate deep enough to permit bringing flush. Also, it would be good to caulk the seams and reprime the edges.
Important parts are linked to screws and unimportant parts are linked to welding
The basic reason for such hard working, innovative Pakistanis is that they are Punjabis. Whether they are from India or Pakistan they achieve.

Plz don't weld auto frames with 6011, or 6010. These are not good rods for this application. You would want to use 7018 all day. 6011 or 6010 would be OK for tack welds but would need to be ground prior to final welding. If planned well you can even mask off our tape the areas to be welded prior to painting or powder coating. This will leave a clean area to weld once you remove the tape. Then once the weld has cooled can easily be painted to protect the metal. The conditions in this video are far from ideal and I give these guys credit for getting it done.
Big A for effort, massive F for dirty welds and a guy that can’t use a grinder. Someone will die using this vehicle when the frame buckles. If their workmanship doesn’t fail, the false sense of security of seeing fresh paint on this polished turn will make the user overload the vehicle and the critical failure will cause someone life or limb.

Before they tighten the nut and bolt it's good to lubricate them otherwise over a period of time after a year it's very difficult to remove them for service. it's nice to work with the team.

I have watched several of these re-making a truck frame in Pakistan. These fellas are extraordinary in their skills. Much respect to therm all. But watching this video and the condition of that c-rail -- it is rusted thru; scaled; rotten in places; and severely pitted. I would think this frame is eligible for the scrap yard! Maybe creating I new one would have been easier (and I have seen them do it!). In any event, they get it done. Great work.

A frame made of several layers of steel profiles is a guaranteed corrosion between the sheets. So no one does it.

It's incredible work by Pakistani work force, unfortunately most of work taken place on government land. They should make their own yards to carryout work and protect natural environment.
How can you tell they don't own the land ,they work hard to feed their children. The natural environment is paved over in most of the world .
@@Chokechain1111 we do appreciate these efforts towards their families, but land they are working on, belongs to highway department it good to earn money but its bad to use government land for nothing. Most of the land in Pakistan occupied by land grabbing mafia. Shop keepers got more then their capacity got outside of shops same as workshop they got more workshop out of their shops. Make decent Pakistan NOT shanti-town. Highways provides lot of work but we are concentrate our benefits.
