Hi friends! I am so excited to take you along with me through the streets of Rome in my Rome Italy travel vlog 2024! Come with me as we visit the stunning rooms and chapels of the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. Then we will visit the Colosseum, Palentine Hill, and Roman Forum. The second day I will take you exploring through the city to find the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and more! And of course there will be lots of spritz, pizza, pasta and gelato to go around ;) Hope you enjoy my little Roman holiday!

It’s been seven years since I’ve been in Rome and from your vlog it’s just like I expected. Much more crowded now than it was back then. Even though I love Greece and the ruins, Italy has to be my favorite. You looked beautiful by the way as always. I’m glad you got away and had fun.

I have always wanted to go to Rome and the Vatican hopefully I can one day I have always wanted to study in the Vatican library but I heard you have to make an appointment in advance it would still be worth it and I’m so sorry St Peter’s Basilica was closed I would really really want to see that too! Hopefully you got to see it on your way back? I heard late July and August is the worst time to go to Italy as it is most of the country’s month off for vacation. Most things are closed 🥹🥲 hopefully next time the church will be open for you guys 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️ I loved your Balman two piece outfit it’s loud but just the right amount of loud and definitely giving Rome vibes 😘👌🏼 chiefs kiss

Thank you! That was so awesome! You obviously have a potential future in travel videos, but not too soon because I have more to learn from you about makeup. I’ve been waiting for this and it was just like being there. Your makeup was beautiful and you looked cool and comfortable even at the end of the day. How do you manage that? I would be looking sweaty and melted. Great pictures of the back of the cat whisperer’s head, by the way. A few from the front would be nice, too. Your two outfits were perfect, and I particularly loved the colors and print on the jeans outfit. You will laugh at this, considering I’m probably old enough to be your grandmother of course, but when I saw the deconstructured nature of the raw edges with the strings hanging down, I sort of cringed - made me want to get my scissors and “fix” it for you! Looking forward to the next installment!
I don't sweat that much! I just do my makeup as usual and use a setting spray when I travel. Staying out of the direct sunlight also helps lol
Rome is like a huge museum! Your outfits were perfect and flat shoes the best choice for walking around Rome. Yeah... that's a great vlog 👏 Happy for you Sofia!

Loved this vlog! I have never been to Italy and I’m dying to go, the history, the art, the food, everything just looks amazing! I would especially love to go to Florence & Venice, but Rome is also spectacular. For now, I’m going to Paris, London & Copenhagen in the September (I’ve been rewatching your Paris vlogs!) hopefully there’ll be less people because I also get very anxious when there are very big crowds. Thank you for sharing!
P.S. Loved your outfit and also your hair. It reminds me so much of the beautiful golden wavy hairstyles you see in Renaissance paintings!

Oh Sofia I feel like I’m there all over again! I was there about a week or two before you and I wanted to go back as soon as I got home. Love all your looks koukla. I will rewatch this whenever I want to revisit until I go back to Italy, Which was one of my favorite trips ever.

What a delightful vlog! I enjoyed seeing Rome through your lens. I have not been and don't aspire to visit because of the crowds. My husband and I are going to Tuscany for 2 weeks in October so that should be fun. My favorite part of the vlog was your museum-inspired vest outfit. Absolutely stunning. I loved Rome the first time I visited in 2019, with the exception of The Vatican. The crowds were unbearable. In 2023 we went back and all of Rome was unbearably crowded so glad you had a good experience at The Vatican. I’ll go back in the off season.
I definitely would have gone more so in October. But since we were there for a wedding we had to go in July so we made the most of it :)
So I have some questions...
Is it humid?
What is the temp?
What does it smell like?
Is there a breeze?
Have you drank the water? What is it like?

It was called Hotel 47. Very nice place and close to a lot of sites
