Learn the chords, strumming pattern, and picking for this song with the complete Tutorial on UU! - ukuleleunderground.com/2016/10/uke-lesson-107-friend-of-the-devil-grateful-dead
Ukulele Underground it's a little bit different from the version you played on one of your Hawaii Friday Jams. I remember you used D7 chord and in general in chorus a different chord progression was used. Was it just a more complicated version of the song? As it seems both versions are played in the same key... Anyway thank you for this great work! Sounds fantastic :)
I have to say, this is a tremendously beautiful rendition. I have also shown it to my son several times. He is not quite two years old, and today, we watched it for the first time in ages because he pointed at the image on the RUclips homepage. After the first few bars, he turned to me, clearly feeling it, and went: "Ya!" Then he watched a bit more, mesmerised, before turning to me again with a big grin. A minute or so later, he turned to me once more and again went: "Ya!" As a big Deadhead, I went away jumping for joy! :-)
Just happened to meet an old Deadhead today and we talked about our favs ..Wondered about renditions on the web and found this!! Agree with David, Awesome and solid rend.. Just sayin.. Tony Marrony
